Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

My son said he wants a marvel infinity war set... Any random one. When I put it into amazon nothing comes up that says infinity war. Do any of you wonderful lot know what he is talking about? Please

LavateLasManos · 14/11/2018 19:29

Lots of Infinity War stuff in Smyths

WaitWhatOh · 14/11/2018 19:43

Just got my husband and son to use their Photobox accounts and order the free desk calendar for me. So now I have three for Xmas gifts. Grin Chuffed to bits as calendar gifts are pricey normally!
It’s the voucher code DESKCAL that takes the 14.99 off leaving you with just postage to pay.

Logoplanter · 14/11/2018 19:52

For Punk the Pomsies were £13 on Amazon but it looks like most of them have gone back up now.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 14/11/2018 19:59

There's a marvel infinity war busy book. 12 figures, playmat and book normally around £6 in supermarkets or tkmaxx or whsmiths. Can buy on eBay new for £12.

Or Disney store had a massive marvel figure set for £35. The box is huge. Loads in there all the main all the main characters.

Lovemusic33 · 14/11/2018 20:11

I accidentally bought the g&b, not sure who I’m going to give it too, maybe a gift to me... from me?

buckeejit · 14/11/2018 20:14

The pop ups are when you've accepted cookies - you need to close & reopen the page & set your preferences. Gumtree has been doing it for ages, it's so annoying!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 14/11/2018 20:16

Munchkin Next often do matching kids and adult stuff. Think Matalan might too?

BloodyForeigner · 14/11/2018 20:21

My dad has plantar fasciitis and is wanting slippers with a rubber sole (for going out the garden) and memory foam inside.

Can anyone recommend any nice ones like that?

MyNameIsNotSteven · 14/11/2018 20:37

@ShesABelter 100% recommend Padders. Very very comfortable slippers. I'm a bit gutted that they don't do any naice women's ones, but they have a better selection of men's ones. I bought a pair for DH a few years ago as he suffers with arthritis in his feet and ankles and he finds them very comfortable (on his third pair now). They meet your criteria of memory foam insole and rubber outer sole too :)

Does anybody know if jd sports will be likely to have any Black Friday deals covering trainers

WhiteKnuckleRide · 14/11/2018 20:51

SweetPeaPods My G&B arrived from amazon exactly the same. Sellotape seal broken on one side of the box. Odd, no?

Apart from that, they look (and taste Blush) fine Confused

@totallayLosingit thanks il check them out!

gaggiagirl · 14/11/2018 21:05

@thaegumathteth Echo show is like a wee TV. 10 inch screen. It does everything a dot does but it also acts as a smart home hub, TV, touch screen, see what your doing thingy!
When I buy one it's going in the kitchen and I'm going to watch YouTube cooking videos while I cook!
I'm going to view my shopping list and video call people. I'm very excited about it.

flintfoxy · 14/11/2018 21:08

Any ideas for a gift for BIL need to post, he is a average guy with no particular hobbies or interests and not very social. I usually send a tie but am trying to think of something better Confused
