Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@TheGirlWhoLived, WHERE did you find Mia and Me outfits??? My DD would absolutely love one. (Though she does often ask how Mia doesn't get cold with so little onGrin)

ChickenFriedMice · 10/11/2018 13:36

Does anyone have a flavourly code please?

defensivejingling · 10/11/2018 13:41

imsorryiasked I'm glad I've taken your advice. They've given me a refund plus a £3 gift card since they can't send another one

PiggeryPorcombe · 10/11/2018 14:07

Just went to order the Green and Blacks but it’s £14 now Shock

imsorryiasked · 10/11/2018 14:12

Ah that's good, worth the hassle!

Drummingisfun · 10/11/2018 14:17

Flavourly have emailed me this:
Case of 24 Fourpure beers (cans) for £36 delivered. You need code FPLAUNCH36 at checkout I think.
I've not tried fourpure beer so no idea if it's any good.

defensivejingling · 10/11/2018 14:26

PiggeryPorcombe they're £5.50 at Tesco still apparently

MrsWithwithers · 10/11/2018 14:27

Thanks for all the ideas shared on these threads! I bought these reindeer earrings from Amazon, they haven’t arrived yet so can’t comment on quality but for 40p worth a punt!

ChickenFriedMice · 10/11/2018 14:36

Thanks for that Drumming but I'm after a case of specific gluten free ones. I've got a 10% off code but holding out for a better offer Grin

LunaLovesgood · 10/11/2018 14:41

totallyLosingIt thank you so much for that, it's sorted out my Grandad Smile
If there's a whiskey one that would be great Grin

MsMiaWallace · 10/11/2018 14:47

Calendar club have got free delivery on everything. Some Calendars cheaper here than amazon!
Also very nice notebooks at good prices.

I'm so stuck on ideas for my little girl. I've got Christmas and her 3rd birthday to buy for.
Problem is, anything I'd have bought her, we've already got from older brother or hand me downs from cousins.
We've got a ton of dressup stuff, a play kitchen and equipment, a shop +till, whole collections of vehicles, knights, happyland, animals, dinosaurs, playfood, playmobil. We already have quite a few Orchard games and dobble.
We have lego, duplo, sticklebricks and wooden blocks. We have a whole orchestra of musical instruments.

We've got bin bags full of cuddly toys that she's not interested in.
She's got baby dolls, pram, clothes.
We've got tons of craft stuff and so many books they don't fit in the bookcase any more.
We have a wooden rainbow and semi circles, bilibos, mini bilibos.
She doesn't like tv so she's not into any characters like Peppa etc.
She has a bike, a scooter, a scuttlebug and a trampoline.
Doesn't need clothes as she's got a chest stuffed full between MIL gifts and hand me downs.

I am really struggling for ideas!
If any has any amazing ideas I'd be so grateful.

Right now her list for birthday and Christmas between us and all extended family consists of:
Kinetic sand
A jigsaw
Maybe some magnetic building tile things

PiggeryPorcombe · 10/11/2018 14:57

I’ve just linked to this on anothe thread but thought I’d put it here too. Junior driving experience £19 via buy-a-gift. Age 10+ 135cm tall. Various locations. Great value although you do get the hard sell to upgrade on the day and pay £15 for a recording of the drive. But we didn’t and it was great anyway.

Here

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 10/11/2018 15:08

@Luna there’s one I heard of called masterofmalt.co.uk

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 10/11/2018 15:09

Drumming I don't have girls but how about My Little Pony? Or Polly Pocket? They've just come back.

Marble run?
Pirate ship?
Playmobil stuff - either the girly branded stuff or just key bits like zoo, country house etc?
Construction set - we have the below

Thread 9 - My son's would have loved that not so much the kinky sparklyness
Jammiebammie · 10/11/2018 15:13

Thanks for the young driver piggery I have to check if dd is tall enough but looks like something she’d love.

Men’s aftershave - my absolute favourite is gaultier le male, just smells amazing on my dh! His faves are Chanel bleu, dior savage and tom Ford.

Has anyone used fragrance direct before? They’ve got a perfume my dd loves reduced and they also have a 5% code making it so much cheaper than anywhere else, I’m just wondering if it’s genuine? Thanks.

Lovemusic33 · 10/11/2018 15:28

Drumming another vote for pollypocket, don’t take up loads of space and they are great for taking on long car journeys.

Drummingisfun · 10/11/2018 15:30

I've used fragrance direct before.

Drummingisfun · 10/11/2018 15:38

We've got my little ponies ( my vintage ones!) and she's not remotely interested.

I'm not sure she'd play with polly pocket either, she has some little girl dolls and she just broke them Angry

She's mostly not interested in typical 'girly' toys.

dancemom · 10/11/2018 15:45

@Drummingisfun how about tickets to a pantomime or a show?

FireflyGirl · 10/11/2018 15:51

Drumming what about making her up a baking box with sprinkles/icing pens/gel food colours?

You could do other themes - gardening? Science experiments?

Annual pass to a local attraction?

WisestIsShe · 10/11/2018 15:55

@Drummingisfun how about a marble run? I've never met a 3yo who didn't love it!

Seaelf · 10/11/2018 16:00

Jammie Fragrance Direct are fine, I've used them for years with no problems.

Methenyouplus4 · 10/11/2018 16:22

Another vote for a marble run.

Sarahclacko · 10/11/2018 16:23

Does anyone need a £10 off code for Boden or 20% off codes for M&S?
