Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

If you're going second hand it's worth sticking to the Geomag brand. Several of the cheaper options were withdrawn because the magnets could fall out.

What can I say, we have some of the cheaper stuff, each time it comes out a couple more bits get chucked out. Mine are old enough that I'm not worried about them swallowing magnets but if we had smaller ones around I would ditch the whole lot.

Ont he plus side, one of the easier toys to put away. Way a couple of the robs over the pile and it all jumps up ready to go back in the box

Oops. Just bought myself a bargain refurbished Kitchen Aid on eBay using the extra 20% code! Well, it is my birthday!

Oh god, every time I see my uncle he brings a bigger and bigger panda for my daughter. I fear that one might be next.

Aldi upcycking craft kits were down to 99p today there is a stenciling, chalking and decoupauge one decent size box that it looks more pricey I brought the decoupage one but the chalking one was good weight too.

If anyone has any trendy young teens to buy for USC have some good prices on Vans trainers in the kids section. Prices start at around £14, loads around the £22

A lot of them go up to a size 6 ( Eu39) which is the size DS needs so I'm well chuffed to get them for £22.

I am looking for a couple of things if sighted (greedy)
Plain/glittery baubles in one block colour - I’m going to do a rainbow theme on the kids tree so don’t want patterned ones (need red, orange, yellow (can go for gold if not), green, blue, indigo and violet.... red and green seem quite easy to find in b and m etc but the plain jewel colours I’m really stuck on! It’s not a huge tree, going to get a 5ft pencil from Argos so I think about 15-20 of each colour might do!?

Also I would really like a decorative llama, preferably glittery and about a foot high (like those stags/reindeer you get for a fiver in Tesco)

Penultimately I’m looking for offers on command clips so I can put the lights up outside

Finally Christmas wall stickers, preferably larger and specifically made for walls so dh doesn’t get all cross when I peel the paint off...

Home bargains have some amazing big scented candles for £2.99 in their Xmas section. We've used the gingerbread and vanilla cookie and have been really impressed, won't buy Yankee ones now
