When do they typically start taking orders?

Come BOLTING in there because I thought it was out.

I'll just back out more discreetly...

Guiltypleasures001 · 25/08/2018 15:39

Is the magazine out then?

optimusprimesmother · 25/08/2018 15:39

JR Grin

Watching with interest !

katienana · 25/08/2018 15:40

It's got to be soon right? I'm so excited as this is my first year doing Christmas in my own house and I can't wait to be a stressy mum picking up my m&s order!

NicoAndTheNiners · 25/08/2018 15:44

No idea sorry but after last years disaster I'm getting m&s this year

Guiltypleasures001 · 25/08/2018 15:44

Calm down Katie, all will be well here have a cold flannel 😁

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 25/08/2018 16:16

It's about November I think but there was an article a while back previewing the offers from the main suppliers except M&S weirdly enough.

YeTalkShiteHen · 25/08/2018 16:18

I went on their site this morning and they said you can order from October!

shrumps · 25/08/2018 18:39

Can't remember when I ordered but everything I had last year was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to get in on it this year.

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2018 18:49

It's about October 6-8 generally. I badgered them last year, quite a bit, about the date the catalogue came out, and it's the first day you can order, annoyingly! Xmas Blush Xmas Angry

SneakyGremlins · 25/08/2018 18:54

I always spend Christmas alone so I order a right feast in to cheer myself up!

And I get to pretend to be posh Grin

GriseldaChop · 25/08/2018 18:55

Don't want to be a killjoy but the two years I've used M&S for Christmas orders it's been terrible! Half the orders not there, crazy substitutions, more stressful than doing the Christmas shop! Although I live M&S usually!

GriseldaChop · 25/08/2018 18:55

Love not live!

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2018 18:56

Sounds like my idea of heaven, @SneakyGremlins!

NicoAndTheNiners · 25/08/2018 18:59

5th of Oct is ringing a bell for me last year....but I may be getting muddled with when the Boots catalogue came out which is another highlight. God knows why because I’ve never bought anything from either!

SneakyGremlins · 25/08/2018 19:21

NoWord I can't drink but I have my Schloer from a champagne flute Wink

MsSquiz · 25/08/2018 19:31

Yep, usually October.
We've ordered the bulk of our Xmas lunch from there for the past 2 years and picked up the orders on Xmas Eve morning and never had any problems or had anything subbed

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2018 20:09

@SneakyGremlins, that is indeed exceptionally classy!

M&S don't do subs, so far as I know. You order well in advance so they send your stuff to store for you, essentially.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 25/08/2018 20:45

It's generally around the 9th or 10th of October.

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2018 20:50

I ordered mine on 4th last year. I just checked my old emails!

VillageFete · 25/08/2018 21:30

I too came crashing in to this thread, i’m a tad disappointed now [santa]

It’s usually early October, but I wish they’d bring it out a little sooner. Like now.

SneakyGremlins · 25/08/2018 21:34

Do you have to pick it up? We have one in town and I've directly bought from there before, not the website

SinkGirl · 25/08/2018 21:45

I don’t know but they better have bacon wrapped mac and cheese stacks again this year, that’s all I’m saying.

Kintan · 25/08/2018 22:01

Yes I think early October too. We've been ordering from them for about 10 years and never had any problems. Actually one year we ordered a plain whole goose and they weren't able to deliver one to our local store for some reason, so they gave us a more expensive stuffed one for free :)

NoWordForFluffy · 25/08/2018 22:04

Yeah, you pick M&S up.

If you want delivery, want want to be really posh, then order from Booths. 😁
