Does anyone know if it's easy to cancel the GH subscription? £3 for 3 months but then £19 thereafter. Would like the three but want to be able to cancel after. Thanks!

Jessica78 · 11/08/2018 09:48

Scarlett - click menu button top left, then shop by range, then last chance x

@shestood the first thing I do when I get the first magazine on a subscription I don’t want to keep is go on to my online banking and cancel the payment there - that means even i struggle to find how to cancel they can’t take another payment - nothing bad has ever happened

Thank you OhHolyFuck! I’ve been after that for my friends son for ages!

NoWordForFluffy · 11/08/2018 11:49

I'm the same as Hugless in that I just cancel the GH DD and get no more magazines. I've just ordered again from November's in Oct.

OnNaturesCourse · 11/08/2018 11:58

Does anyone know or remember the pattern of Smyths Toy Shop sales?

I'm sure there was a summer one last year but can't remember when. Holding off buying a few bits incase they land in a sale.

OhHolyFuck · 11/08/2018 12:05

My free gin hasn't arrived yet

ScarlettDarling · 11/08/2018 12:12

Oneofthose Thanks, that's great. Off to spend some money! Grin

ScarlettDarling · 11/08/2018 12:13

MissDollyMix · 11/08/2018 12:29

Just marking my place! I’m a newbie to the Christmas thread. Thanks for all the tips so far!

BadgerFace · 11/08/2018 12:48

Err, hang on, how did I miss a post about free gin?!?!

pmac62 · 11/08/2018 13:04

Just got a brochure for the summer clearance for woolovers. Maybe worth looking at their online store.

MaryDollNesbitt · 11/08/2018 13:13

Star Wars Extendable Lightsaber now only £4.00 in Argos. Was £14.99.

xTinkerhellx · 11/08/2018 13:23

@MaryDollNesbitt you are a star. Got one for the 6 year old and one for her 33 year old dad Grin

SleepyPaws · 11/08/2018 13:34

@Jenasaurus not sure of current deals but we picked up a switch and game bundle on amazon during the last Black Friday sale. It was £279 currently on sale for £309

MaryDollNesbitt · 11/08/2018 13:39

Tinker that's brilliant! Grin

If they don't make me the favourite Auntie (while simultaneously making my sister glare at me for the ensuing carnage) I don't know what will!

For anyone who's looking to buy cheap makeup for themselves or gifts. Boots has a clearance on their seventeen makeup as it's getting discontinued. Lots of lipsticks, blushers, foundation, some bronzers etc prices starting from 75p-£2.40!
Nice little stocking fillers. And if you buy 2 of anything you get a free nail varnish!

moonbabyandthebeast · 11/08/2018 13:55

Lego compatible tape in Sainsburys £2.40 down from £8

@Jenasaurus curries have it £30 off right now, just paid £300 for the console with MarioKart. We researched all the deals, Very don’t do 30% off first order anymore, it’s just 10% for electronics, and Curries worked out cheaper as my DD wants that particular game.
Ouch, bloody hurt to pay that much! It’s a joint Xmas and birthday gift and nanny is paying £100 towards it. Still. Ouch.

TheGirlWhoLived · 11/08/2018 14:33

I was browsing for wellies and saw that Sports Direct have three Pierre Cardin mens polo shirts for £13. Not bad if RRP of £19.99 is to be believed! Here

LostMyRubySlippers · 11/08/2018 15:18

Thanks for the mothercare / topcashback offer. Just created a second account using my spare email so will see if it works!!!
I have a sparks offer for £5 off women’s shoes. Thought I had a genius bargain to post for free slippers but alas it doesn’t work on slippers!! Sad
But might be worth checking your sparks offers if you were planning to buy M&S shoes anyway- women’s only
