Does anyone know if you can get a set of the most recent Julia Donaldson books? They have packs on the book people etc but all include The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom etc which we already have.

AlwaysPottering · 08/08/2018 20:34

Hurray! Love the bargain thread. I have none to share yet but will get looking Smile

Polkapjs · 08/08/2018 20:52

Hulashaker · 08/08/2018 20:58

I got a fluffimals stuffing station from home bargains for £4.99. I thought it was a great bargain

1stTimeMama · 08/08/2018 20:58

@Swishy I bloody love TKMaxx! I don't think I've ever been in one and not bought at least a couple of things.

TiffinBox · 08/08/2018 21:05

BigEaredBob try the works 10 books for £10 offer they have quite frequently. You could mix and match the titles to suit you. They usually have Julia Donaldson books included in the offer.

Just mentioning here the 40% off Protected Species coats that is being advertised elsewhere on Mumsnet. Just in case people have missed it. Probably doesn’t count as bought it for myself but it was a good saving and at least I’ll be dry at long last. Think the code is MUMS40 but if not it’s pinned at the top of one of the boards.

Squeakybubbles26 · 08/08/2018 21:13

I know there’s been a post about this already and I’m guessing it’s probably a no, but does anyone know if the Happyland Christmas trainset is on sale anywhere?

Lelly78 · 08/08/2018 22:29

SheStoodInTheStorm · 08/08/2018 22:32

Thanks for the tip @HuglessDuglas some great things there. No MLP onesies in stock near me Sad

Ewock · 08/08/2018 22:33

Wow thank you all so much. Magpie, Rex london, Argos (I also got the Playmobile Roman set) Waterstones and Hobbycraft had fantastic bargains. You lovely people have nearly sorted my Christmas shopping! I may have added a few bits on for myself as well and bought coats for the kids! But so impressed with the prices. I've never been on this thread but I am a convert! No stress and great savings!

Coldilox · 08/08/2018 22:36

My 4 year old (next week) is obsessed with Sppngebob Squarepants if anybody sees anything related. It's not all that popular these days do not easy to find. He's getting a pencil case and small soft toy for his birthday (and Nanny is making him a Spongebob cake!)

Stripy29 · 08/08/2018 22:44

My sister picked me up my playmobil roman set earlier from an argos in a sainsburys store where she works and used her staff discount on it, so worked out at £9! Absolute bargain thank you! And its a huge box Grin
I also picked up a real techniques makeup brush from my local home bargains yesterday for £2.99, they usually retail at about a tenner. Brilliant present for teenagers or makeup enthusiasts.
