A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

If anyone is twitching the Lego Store have 20% off Duplo, Lego Juniors, Lego City, Lego Friends.

gingerbreadmam · 06/12/2017 21:48

I had an email from truffleshuffle some day this week with money off pusheen stuff. They do some brilliant things on there.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 06/12/2017 21:59

@chocolatepudandchocolatesauce, my DD loved make believe and copying us when she was 1. Her godmother bought her these wooden biscuits and she adored them. Still plays with them to this day.

Dotcomgiftshop also have a really nice building block set (which was DD's other favourite pressie at that time, although ours was a Hamley's sale bargain). If you sign up for the newsletter you'd qualify for free shipping in any order over £20.

Alternatively, George at Asda have a smashing wooden tea set reduced to a tenner right now.

If anyone needs a present for football mad youngsters, Wowcher have got two jigsaws for £12 +£4 postage - one a map of the UK showing all 2017/18 premiership teams, the other a map of europe showing all the teams in the european cup/competition/thingy (didn't look too closely at which, not a footie bod myself!) - they should be £15 each jigsaw so a good saving and bonus they're educational without your dc noticing as it's football Xmas Grin

I got one for ds last year - it was in home bargains and only £1.50 as it was for the previous year (I pretended that I hadn't noticed/realised that it would have been different - naughty mummy!) as he'd spotted them advertised in the paper and asked for one. They're good quality and he's enjoyed doing it.

And amazon - I threw a White Company code voucher in the recycling earlier today - will dig in and see if I can find it!

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2017 22:20

Can anyone help me think of a present that my MIL could get for my 7yo son? Budget is 30 pounds.

It´s odd that I can´t think of something because he likes so many things. So far he is getting (across Christmas and birthday) Nexo Knights sets, Nerf guns, Marvel Mashers, a small Lego helicopter, diecast Star Wars vehicles.

He has said he wants and then said he doesn´t want a playmobil boat with a motor, a Nerf Vest, Magic Tracks (because I said I thought he wouldn´t play with them).

I would like to give him a nice surprise. He is clearly sick of being asked!

Penguinbeaver · 06/12/2017 22:27

margarita how about magformers?

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2017 22:30

Thanks PenguinBeaver. Do you know what their play value is like? I am never convinced but I could be worng. Also, DD wants them and is not getting them!

RJnomore1 · 06/12/2017 22:33

Ooh that's exciting about urban decay...

chillimice · 06/12/2017 22:34

margaritas how about snap circuits or along a similar building theme to magnatiles, kapla blocks?

chillimice · 06/12/2017 22:38

Oh sorry I thought magformers were the same thing as magnatiles which my DS covet but sadly aren't likely to get! Kapla blocks get played with all the time, more than Lego now weirdly..

margaritasbythesea · 06/12/2017 22:50

Oh I think I made the same mistake too chillimice. Off to look at all those suggestions as I am clearly not that knowledgeable!

HoneyDragon · 06/12/2017 23:07

bunbunny · 06/12/2017 23:44

Anyone needing a good little extra item for 7-10 yr olds (ish!) - this week's edition of the Beano is in a bag and has a box of pranks in it. The box is square so it won't roll very easily into a stocking, but would be good as a cheap present or something to have by you to distract your dc for a while!

bunbunny · 07/12/2017 00:36

@Amazonmulu - I've found my white company introductory offer for a friend.

The code is AR809 and it gives 15% off and free delivery, expires 23 December.

Think it either came with a Sunday paper magazine or a book people delivery so guessing the code should work more than once.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 07/12/2017 06:42

I'm nearly done but need 2 gifts around the £20 mark for a 12yr old boy and a 25yr old. Both into label sports clothes. Wondering the best place to buy? JD seems insanely expensive Shock

Kraggle · 07/12/2017 07:05

Does anyone know where I can buy bargainous shredded paper please?

Making dd a lucky dip box of shopkins etc (can’t be arsed to make a surprise egg!) is eBay my best bet?

Dailystuck71 · 07/12/2017 07:10

I am looking for deals on any big Lego sets under £100.

Has anyone got a 3D pen? Any good?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 07/12/2017 07:19

kraggle do you have a paper shredder that does straight lines (rather then cross hatch)? Is so, you could shred some coloured paper and use that!

Otherwise Poundland or eBay!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 07/12/2017 07:22

After tons of nagging, I’ve finally got a Christmas list from my two teens - absolutely nothing bargaintastic on those lists!
I too am hoping the dots go back on offer - just thought who I could buy one for.

Notso · 07/12/2017 07:25

Fueledwithfaurydustandgin try mandm direct for reasonably priced sports stuff.

Kraggle · 07/12/2017 07:27

Alas no shredder Lego good idea though! Will have a look round eBay.

margaritasbythesea · 07/12/2017 07:27

Daily - Lego Store have 20% off Lego City, Friends and Junior.

Kraggle - I made an advent calendar for my daughter and did find ebay the cheapest place to buy them by far. I wasn´t happy with the quality to be honest and almost changed plan but didn´t and she seems totally oblivious. She is 9.

Allhallowseve · 07/12/2017 07:33

Missed the end of last thread .
Am nearly done ! Just need to find a light up disco ball on a stick sensory type thing ...well two actually ...my two Ds love them at a group we go to so would like one for their stockings . Don't want to pay too much as am aware it is essentially a bit of tat....if anyone spots any I would be grateful!
Also where are you all getting nice but bargainous wrapping paper?

CarrotVan · 07/12/2017 07:40

Sports Direct (depending on your shopping ethics and ability to put up with sullen teenage shop staff)

Or MandM Direct
