A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

Primark has loads of unicorn themed clothing in at the moment. I've got my dd (7) a reverse sequin unicorn top and Team Unicorn trousers. 🦄

BWatchWatcher · 09/12/2017 19:26

If anyone has a 10£ off 30£ Boden voucher I would be very grateful! My son has outgrown his coat :(

Admiralclingus · 09/12/2017 19:31

Guys can you all please convince me I absolutely do not need to buy dd ANYTHING else?

I'm having an attack of the guilts that she hasn't got enough but she has loads i think? This is our first Christmas just me and her, without her waste of oxygen father so I think that's making me more twitchy?

Unless you have some utterly bargainous suggestions for an almost 6 year old that she absolutely must have?

Dozyoldtwonk · 09/12/2017 19:45

Rigbyroo thank you so much!

I found the giant kinder eggs I was after - £4 in Tesco if anyone is interested Smile

Hippobottymus · 09/12/2017 19:52

Admiralclingus · 09/12/2017 20:46

slimyslitheryslug · 09/12/2017 21:34

@BWatchWatcher WZAoVoGQY9YQ. Valid until midnight. Minimum £30 spend.

Fuckingfuckssake · 09/12/2017 21:45

Code DEF1 will also get you 20% off on top of the clearance prices and stacks with the £10 off code at Boden, I've just got my daughter a lovely duffel coat for £26, much appreciated RainbowBrite.

TroubledTribble28 · 09/12/2017 21:51

admiral Im nosy and I'm looking for bargains ... can you post me your link? Blush

margaritasbythesea · 09/12/2017 22:03

Admiral - what have you got her? I bet you have a pretty good idea of what she will really go for on the day.

If it´s any help, I went all out one year for my son´s birthday as we were alone and he got quite upset´and overwhelmed, saying, Ít´s too much mummy!

I have done a lot of lone birthdays, due to work not divorce, and after all these years the best advice I can give you is to breathe, let things slide, and get down on the floor and play with her.

I get very emotional if I try to take photos etc so I now avoid it. I also take out all the wires and things which hold the toys into their boxes before wrapping them. It can get quite fraught if there is only you there doing it.

Sorry - you probably didn´t want all that!

PurpleSock · 09/12/2017 22:09

Can anyone recommend a food quality tin opener (not electric) please?

My dad goes through them so quickly and has asked for one that would last

Ideally from Amazon as I have add on items I need to order but not essential

BWatchWatcher · 09/12/2017 22:17

Ah someone used the code
Thank you though!

HereBeFuckery · 09/12/2017 22:33

Don't suppose anyone has one of those £5 no min spend Argos voucher codes going begging? I used mine, but have two more small things to get from there, would be v grateful!

caffeineanddryshampoo · 09/12/2017 22:35

"I didn't even realise I had a penguin shaped hole. " should be the name of the next thread title!!!!

WheresTheCoffee · 09/12/2017 22:38

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll be getting DN some wooden cutting fruit. Smile

Admiralclingus · 09/12/2017 22:38

ecofreckle · 09/12/2017 23:46

Can't recall name of person asking but my pact coffee came a week before my aeropress too. Did yours arrive?

Has anyone cancelled their pact subscription at all please? I've never done a subscription and cancelled it so am a bit clueless. Thanks

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 10/12/2017 06:11

@Hedgyhoggy I saw this cushion making kit in Argos yesterday and thought it looked a good gift, especially if you do the 2 for £15 deal.

margaritasbythesea · 10/12/2017 06:15

That looks like plenty Admiral! Grin

flooredbored · 10/12/2017 06:48

If anyone else has a £10 off Boden code they won't use I would be very grateful.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 10/12/2017 07:04

@Hedgyhoggy also just saw this unicorn projector on my FB feed.

I seem to spot unicorn stuff everywhere at the moment despite having no need for it Confused

KatrinaSunRay · 10/12/2017 07:42

Suspect I've missed them, any M&S codes for a non-Sparks cardholder please? Just received suggestion list for my family Secret Santa. TIA.

chillimice · 10/12/2017 08:11

Aw admiral she's going to be totally made up with that lovely stash! Plus if she's anything like my DD6 having your undivided attention and cuddles for the day is worth all that and more Xmas Smile now if you could stop me twitching too that'd be great!

imsorryiasked · 10/12/2017 08:41

@purplesock we have a "Kuhn Rikon Auto Safety LidLifter / Can Opener" (sorry can't link without showing personal details)
Its brilliant as it undoes the seal around the top of the can rather than cutting it. When you first use it you think it hasn't worked but you use the pincers on the side and it comes clean off. Looks like they have a couple of different designs now but it's is probably ten years old.
