RJ I've just been looking at that Paddington pop-up book - i want it too!! But £25!! I've closed the tab and am trying to erase it from my memory Grin

fleshmarketclose · 28/11/2017 10:40

£10 off your first £30 spend at Amazon Pantry with code PANTRY10. I bought selection boxes for the children in our family, same price as in supermarkets but a third off with the code and delivered to my door so avoiding the cold and the queues Grin

HistoryMad · 28/11/2017 10:42

I'm looking for really good deals on origin skincare. I think I might wait till after Christmas.

fleshmarketclose · 28/11/2017 10:48

History some good buys on Feel Unique here and free postage when you spend £15

WoahBodyforrrrm · 28/11/2017 11:00

Woolovers update. No response to email or fb post so I called them (use Say No to 0870) and there was an issue with the payment system. Fantastic customer service when I spoke to a person, they're sorting it today and are sending it by DPD to say sorry so it will be with me shortly. Anyone else still awaiting their bargain jumpers, is urge you to call! I don't think I'd have found out if I hadn't chased it Xmas Grin

WoahBodyforrrrm · 28/11/2017 11:01

Does anyone know where to get mini bottles of baileys individually? I've searched in Asda and Sainsbury's but no luck.

TheImprobableGirl · 28/11/2017 11:19

Llamacorn · 28/11/2017 11:19

Checking in, thanks @reastie.

I don't think I'll be on this thread as much things haven't been great here but good luck all you bargain hunters. I've still got over 75% of gifts to get too argh:

@RJ I'm so sorry I haven't posted EK yet! I pinky pinky promise I will though and you'll get it soon.

I have a 15yo dd who loves make up but she is really only into high end brands now, annoyingly. Her most wanted birthday gift was a teeny tiny bottle of oil for £50 😱

Her and most of her friends would love the urban decay palettes, cult beauty also have fab make up gift sets too. Morphe pallets are very good and actually really cheap at about £23 for a huge one. Fall into frost is dds fave one and coveted by a lot of her friends but they have loads more too. If you make an account with cult beauty you can get 15% off with code YOU15. In fact I think beauty bay might have reduced morphe palettes, I haven't had time to check sorry.

Can anyone recommend a telescope for an 8 year old (I'm sure it's a passing phase but I can't convince him otherwise!) thanks x

LibertineLola · 28/11/2017 12:35

@WoahBodyforrrrm all my local corner shops seem to sell them behind the counter. I always buy miniatures and pop them inside crackers

ReindeerPoop · 28/11/2017 12:42

@theonlyoneiknow Aldi have them on pre-order for £15 I think

APocketfulOfStars · 28/11/2017 12:48

ivegota my DM had a jumper arrive with snags from woolover. I'm not sure how she contacted them, but she got told to keep the jumper as well as the replacement!

Theonlyoneiknow · 28/11/2017 13:10

Thank you @reindeerpoop !

dancemom · 28/11/2017 13:18

Can someone update me on the mi band and also the filter thing that went over a phone?

Sure I saw them but can't find them now ...

McSleepy · 28/11/2017 13:32

@WoahBodyforrrrm I bought lots of minis yesterday for Christmas presents from my local Asda and I am fairly certain they had baileys. They had about 20 varieties, so it might just be some stores that sell them.

AWholeLottaRosie · 28/11/2017 13:34

Iceland/ The Food Warehouse stores have 10% off for the emergency services for the next three weeks.
NHS, Police, Fire Service, HM Coastguard and RNLI - show your photographic ID to get discount in store.

AWholeLottaRosie · 28/11/2017 13:34

I have a Lakeland code if anyone wants it, expires 30/11

Minster2012 · 28/11/2017 13:39

Damn my check in didn’t work so hopefully this will keep me on this time!

WoahBodyforrrrm · 28/11/2017 13:40

Brilliant thanks for the suggestions! I'll check the corner shop and if not, head to a bigger Asda!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 28/11/2017 13:43

Hope things improve soon @Llamacorn

@HerbsAndStewedRabbit not sure they’ll do another blanket 20% off but what sort of things do you have in your basket? If clothes then I find 20% off on my Sparks offers v regularly - could be worth signing up if you haven’t already. Might have to break the ordering down a bit as the 20% is usually stuff like trousers one fortnight, jumpers the next.

mycatislickingherpaw · 28/11/2017 13:44

Kind of feels like the right group where to post this.

Thread 18 - Remember, it's only a bargain if you need it or will use it, otherwise it's still a waste of money
TractorTedTed · 28/11/2017 13:46

Roaring re: The 5 pound Amazon thing.

You top up your account by paying in £20 and then Amazon credits your account with an extra £5. You have to pay in the money at a paypoint shop (for me it was our local co-op, but there's a map on the website which shows you the location of your nearest one.) I've no idea why people would usually want to pay in cash, when it's far easier to do it online, but worth it for a free fiver!
You do have to spend it by 31st Dec, but if it's for Christmas shopping then it shouldn't be a problem!

This link should explain it better:

www.hotukdeals.com/deals/top-up-20-or-more-using-amazon-top-up-in-store-and-earn-a-5-amazon-promotional-credit-in-partnership-with-paypoint-2765133and

A previous poster was the one who found it, but I'm afraid can't remember who it was.

Fingermoose · 28/11/2017 14:04

dancemom the phone magnifying filter was a magniband - I ordered some from their website yesterday and they arrived today so thanks to the PP who suggested those!

MuppysMum · 28/11/2017 14:09

Thank you so much for all the fantastic bargains and festive chat! IRL no one I know is interested in being organized for Xmas or the thrill of bargains and getting yourself a great deal - my OH thinks I'm bonkers to use these threads but you've helped loads as I've been in ill health and you have all kept me going - must admit though not tempted by fingerlings or Robert Unicorns!FlowersStar

HTH someone but I have lots of teens to buy for and they are mad on Subway (they go to meet/catch up with mates or after going to the cinema) Groupon are doing deals for subways/snacks and if you use 15OFF you will get another 15% off the total. Cant figure out how to do a link Im sorry I rarely post - but if you go onto Groupon and put in Subway it will come up. Thxs again :0)

mrsreynolds · 28/11/2017 14:11

Tip re: nip and fab...I got some from Amazon for 2/3 of the price on the nip and fab website
