Just popped into town to do some real life shopping and found this pack of top trumps with a magazine for only £1 in pound stretcher. Great quality magazine with it with facts about the animals on the cards.

Absolute bargain, great for stockings or a little add on to a gift.

screamativemom · 22/11/2017 17:09

What is the magazine subscription deal about please?

Feastingtime · 22/11/2017 17:11

Any chance of a Lakeland code hopeful face

Uptheduffy · 22/11/2017 17:26

Sideorder have you tried the cards with it yet? Really cool!
Has anyone gone to a supermarket very early on Black Friday itself? One near me (Tesco) is having a very early opening and I’m wondering what kind of stuff they might sell that would make it worth the early rise!

ZIGGY911 · 22/11/2017 17:28

Does anyone know if Aldi ever get back in stock their special buys. Wanted a 3d printer which I thought went on sale tomorrow but was on pre-sale for release tomorrow and all now sold out. Only thing my son wants.

ShiftyMcGifty · 22/11/2017 17:32

If anyone has a homesense or tk maxx. I spied these Caroline gardener canvas tote bags for £3.99 in the the stationary/art supplies aisle. I thought they’ll made lovely teacher gifts.

What kind of things do you buy for 1 and 3yr old children for parties?

A neighbour has just knocked to invite dd and that's very kind, but I haven't had to buy for this age for years!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/11/2017 17:47

Thanks

CarrotVan · 22/11/2017 18:05

Books @oreocrumbs

Amazon 4 for £10 offer

Or look at The Works and their 2 for £10 gifts

Mary1935 · 22/11/2017 18:08

Hi anyone give me any ideas for gifts for a 10 year old boy and a 10 year old girl - up to £20 - can be a voucher but I wouldn't know which shop to get one from. Thanks a lot.

Olecranon · 22/11/2017 18:11

30% off at Ted baker. Just bought myself a handbag. I may also have bought myself some Ugg slippers from Ugg Black Friday sale. John lewis looks to be price matching too.

cowssheephens · 22/11/2017 18:13

Has anyone ordered the Amazon fire for £29? I can only get that price if I add the cover, and that's an extra £20!

Youranus · 22/11/2017 18:23

Cowssheephens, I bought 2 Kindle fires this morning for £29 each. I didn't buy any added cover, but there was a quite persistent pop up encouraging me to do so. I had to touch the cross on the top right hand side a few times before it disappeared and I was able to purchase with no added extras.

Oreocrumbs · 22/11/2017 18:29

Brilliant CarotVan! I can't believe I couldn't think of books! Thank you off to amazon I go.

LikeSilver · 22/11/2017 18:32

HDUK are reporting Asda will have half price toy advent calendars from tomorrow 🤞

chaosisaladder · 22/11/2017 18:42

I think the name of this thread was something I said on the last one 😂 and funnily enough I came on to say that as DH works at Aldi, he’s putting one of the Kevin and one of the Katies aside tomorrow 😂 and we still haven’t seen the bloody advert!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 22/11/2017 18:51

mary my 9 year old dd loves adult colouring books and sharpies. pretty stationary - smiggle, tiger, paperchase. vouchers I would go either primark if they have a big one nearby or lovetoshop as you can spend in loads of places. dd and her friends who are boys like minecraft, nerf guns and pokemon. also harry potter is pretty popular - there's a new illustrated fantastic beasts book which looks lovely and an adult colouring book.

captainjacksparrow · 22/11/2017 19:08

Thanks for t shirt link, and Amazon book link I've bloody finished but can't seem to stop

chaosisaladder · 22/11/2017 19:09

I saw someone mention bloom & wild on the last thread - I’ve had a ‘£10 off your first order’ voucher through with one of my deliveries today. It says can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer but it’s there if someone wants it!

cowssheephens · 22/11/2017 19:15

Thank you Youranus Now sorted.

OhHolyFuck · 22/11/2017 19:17

Nice children's encyclopaedia, got 99 reviews all 5* and is down from £20 to £6

TellMeItsNotTrue · 22/11/2017 19:22

Glad the free tshirt is being used Smile it meant I could actually order something Grin my fingers have been itching and I can't buy anything

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 22/11/2017 19:31

Cowssheep I ordered 2 this morning for £29, it was intent on making me get a cover with a pop up every time I added to basket but I just pressed the x in the corner or continued to basket

vroc81 · 22/11/2017 19:36

@cookiefiend I have a life venture travel mug (about 9.99 on amazon often on offer in millets) it’s battered from many trips out with within my bag and still going strong, you can even buy replacement seals which I recently did after about 10 years, it’s a one cup flask really but I and everyone I know who had them drinks from it like a cup..
