pudding we have this one, it’s really quite decent. Had it for a few years now. I don’t think I paid this much for it though so wonder if it will go on offer?

Have a look on Etsy for a bear menandyouplus4 not really a bargain at all but I found this little bear here not got a pink nose but I bet the seller could make you one

Jedbartletforpresident · 20/11/2017 21:14

methenyou - maybe something like this

fandangley · 20/11/2017 21:15

@Methenyouplus4 this polar bear from JL is definitely tiny, no pink nose but maybe you could stitch pink thread over it?

Reastie · 20/11/2017 21:17

I need some help! Dd has written her letter to Father Christmas at school today and has asked for 10 squinkies or squiggies or something like that. She said they are small and you press them and they're squiggy but other than that I have absolutely no idea and google isn't helping. Does anyone know what on earth she is talking about? Every year she asks for some random thing when she writes her letter to santa at school and it drives me crazy!

I thinkshe could mean squinkies.com/these Reastie.Dd had them years ago now so try Home Bargains

fleshmarketclose · 20/11/2017 21:22

Dodgy link trying again

Prizepudding · 20/11/2017 21:23

Reastie, they are called squinkies, they were popular a few years ago but havnt seen them in the shops for ages, your best bet would be Ebay I think, lots of them plus play sets on there.

Prizepudding · 20/11/2017 21:25

Thanks ladies for the slushy recommendations, much appreciated. One more thing sorted :)

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 20/11/2017 21:25

reastie squinkies do drops are small and squishy. I bought a pack reduced in argos a little while ago. but saw packs of 2 in poundworld last week. can also get a little plane for them again reduced on argos a few months ago.

Jedbartletforpresident · 20/11/2017 21:25

Oh goodness I remember Squinkies! My DD loved them! They were like a forerunner to Shopkins and just as bad!

margaritasbythesea · 20/11/2017 21:32

She means squishies I think. My daughter watches them on you tube. Yes, really. Hang on I´ll find some for you.

LibertineLola · 20/11/2017 21:32

@reastie could your daughter be taking about squishies? Both my 8 year old daughter and 14 year old son are obsessed with them as are most of their friends. I ordered these squishies and they love them Hmm

margaritasbythesea · 20/11/2017 21:34

Squishies here

Fruityatforty · 20/11/2017 21:34

Anyone found a spare Lakeland code they wouldn't mind kindly sharing?

Pearlsaringer · 20/11/2017 21:37

Your thread title made me laugh out loud -our postie has taken to leaving our parcels with random neighbours so now half the sodding street knows my spending habits Blush

fandangley · 20/11/2017 21:37

@Methenyouplus4 Also found this small, white, pink nose, could pass as a polar bear, cheap! bear...

ReindeerPoop · 20/11/2017 21:48

@fruityatforty I have one but I'm currently upstairs with DS2 who is a bit under the weather (the code is downstairs) I'll PM you when I get back down hopefully soon as my wine is getting warm

ReindeerPoop · 20/11/2017 21:52

tiny bear with pink nose

PurpleSock · 20/11/2017 21:58

Delurking to shamelessly ask for help!

I've recently got a new job and have got one of the managers as my secret Santa, he's a man in his thirties I'd say but I know nothing else about him! We don't work in the same office and they're very strict about it being kept a secret so can't ask anyone who knows him better for help, budget it £10, any ideas would be greatfully received!

Oh and I'm rubbish at baking and need to travel 3 hours with it for the Christmas party so it would need to be able to survive the journey!

hashtagelfie · 20/11/2017 22:04
