Anyone interested in Fly boots or shoes, Amazon have a load reduced today in their deals of the day. Sorry I can't link on this phone!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 22/11/2017 08:44

@LoadOfOldBalls I’m 32 and like Good Housekeeping! It’s def aimed towards the maturer end of the market but wears it lightly imo.

Am giving MIL a Prima sub this year too.

Theonlyoneiknow · 22/11/2017 09:31

There is an Asda version of the OG vet set? Comes with doll/outfit/animals and vet station?

FreddieBoswellsHair · 22/11/2017 09:53

Hot wheels ultimate garage down to £42 ish on toysrus but use code 8086839990 to get it for £37 ish delivered.
Usually about 69.99 so massive saving.
Amazon have price matched the 42 ish price.
Sorry about the ish prices but I can't remember the exact pennies even though I have just bought it!Grin

CarrotVan · 22/11/2017 09:54

Anyone have any Debenhams codes?

glenthebattleostrich · 22/11/2017 09:58

This is the Asda vet set. I bought it for DD, the box is huge and quite impressive looking (she's 7 so still values size over content!!)

Novemberblues · 22/11/2017 10:05

White comes has 20% off but is that just on line or in store too?

Cutesbabasmummy · 22/11/2017 10:09

WH Smiths has Game of life down to £11.49 in store from over £24!

macnab · 22/11/2017 10:41

NoMudNoLotus I was going to suggest Lidl for a calligraphy set, I see someone else already mentioned it!

I got my DS football goals, he particularly wants 'real' goals he's had others in the past but they've been very flimsy and small. I found a goal on Amazon that seems ideal, full size and can be put up and taken down in a few minutes, lots of reviews by people saying their children can easily manage them. I was going to buy on Amazon but found out that if you buy direct from the supplier they do a deal on the 2nd goal half price. I bought them on Monday and they've just arrived and look excellent. this is the link if anyone's interested

I'm twitching on the £29 kindle fire today. DD would be using it to watch stupid toy unboxing videos on YouTube can you access YouTube on it and can you set up any sort of parental controls or do I need to buy the Kids version instead?

fishchipspeasandgravy · 22/11/2017 10:45

@macnab you can set up a kids profile on he normal kindle fire with YouTube on if you wish

macnab · 22/11/2017 11:04

If anyone is in the mobile app 3, they have a rewards app called Wuntu. You often get free coffee or cinema tickets...thus week they have a chocolate card for £1.99 postage.
Just sent one to an aunt we won't see, for delivery 20th Dec.

@Llamacorn it was me looking for Jellycats. I got a medium bashful mut for £11 in the end from campus gifts. Two actually. Thanks for remembering though!

NoSquirrels · 22/11/2017 11:26

Thank you Fudge - Fly boots ordered for me! Wanted the lovely blue colour of one pair but sold out in my size ... but free returns with Prime so I have taken a punt on the red ones. Didn't entirely mean to be spending money on me but never mind!

I know they've been a favourite on these threads before, but The Spidery have some lovely things in for under a tenner - I particularly like these Secret Santa gift bags

I have just managed to save a load of money on Amazon I spent just over £170 on already discounted things for just £140. It did involve a bit of planning and effort, but if anyone else has a lot to buy from Amazon, here's how I did it...

Firstly, if you have any old Amazon accounts (that you may have used in the past to get free Prime trials, for example) CHECK YOUR EMAIL because Amazon have been sending out unique codes for £10 off eligible spends of £50 and over. Eligible seems to mean anything dispatched by Amazon and works on Black Friday reductions like the Prime TV stick.

£5 credit when you top up £20 in store with PayPoint. This link should take you to the right page if you are already logged into Amazon. It's really easy to do and the £5 credit is applied to the next thing you buy that is dispatched by Amazon. The promotion only works once per account, and the credit will expire after 31 Dec if not used. I have 2 Amazon accounts so used this twice, once for each account.

£5 credit when you top up £50 online. This link should tell you if your account is eligible. Like the other offer, it's will only work once for each account (so, again, I topped up both accounts). Unlike the other offer, the £5 credit from this can be spent on anything and lasts for up to 10 years, like a gift card.

It did take quite a bit of planning, but it was a good saving for things I was going to buy anyway, especially since it included some things that were already very reduced.
