@Frostyleapingholly So glad it worked and you’ve kicked off your Christmas shopping! I bought the first of the presents today too, feel relieved to have started Grin

CakeNinja · 15/11/2017 20:54

Has anyone got a Debenhams code? Seen a lovely bag for MIL that's £130, would like to get a bit off if I can!

Madonnasmum · 15/11/2017 20:54

I've just got 2 x prosecco, 2 x red and 2 x white for bang on £40 with my double up voucher. V pleased with that.

TellMeDinosaurFacts · 15/11/2017 20:54

Anyone else a bit Hmm that Woolovers want to charge you 1.99 for a prepaid returns label in advance, just in case you want to return items....?

CarrotVan · 15/11/2017 20:55

@reastie If you look at Yellow Moon it's the same as Baker Ross but they donate a % to a charity of your choice

Taffeta · 15/11/2017 21:03

I also cashed in on the Nectar nectar Grin with some wine I shan’t be sharing

I like instead of hiking up the TTD wine prices they actually had offers on my faves. Thumbs up Sainsbo.

Pumpkintopf · 15/11/2017 21:08

Reastie Is it for a bran tub where you could differentiate the pressies with the wrapping rather than having to buy stuff that would suit all ages? If so you could perhaps consider eg Poundland make up (they quite often have decent branded stuff in), little too sets etc? Based on my PTA experience I would just trawl Poundland, home bargains, B&M and wilko looking for the cheapest and best quality stuff I could find...

Pumpkintopf · 15/11/2017 21:13

Sorry for long link!

Poundland have decent little first aid kits which are good stocking filler type gifts

Madonnasmum · 15/11/2017 21:22

Arrrrr thought I was finished but DC has just asked for a fingerling!!!!!! Everywhere is sold out. Do you think they'll be restocked in time or do I get a fake?

DumbledoresArmy · 15/11/2017 21:29

I’m in the same boat with fingerling !

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 15/11/2017 21:33

👜 over 🧀🍞

Didn’t think it would take so long for someone to have a grump 🤣

I personally would love the toastie subscription thingy as a gift

Carrie76 · 15/11/2017 21:33

Anyone have a code for the entertainer before I check out my basket!

LostMyRubySlippers · 15/11/2017 21:36

carrie I don’t have one sorry but you can generate a code by joining their bday club- can add 10 birthdays, not just own dc. They send code 3 weeks before so you could put a birthday in for 3 weeks & 1 day & should get a code tomorrow?? Depends if you can hang on making order.. hope that makes sense

LostMyRubySlippers · 15/11/2017 21:37

I also had a £5 code off Argos, so ordered the Star Wars mashers set that was linked to yest for £4- bargain!

Theonlyoneiknow · 15/11/2017 21:40

Thanks for the suggestions for a Xmas day birthday pressie for DS. He loves star wars and strictly (!) I did look at tickets for the tour but they are mega expensive sadly and also wondered about tickets for a transformers convention too as he loves those but sadly nearest one is 400 miles away. We usually spread his gifts out over the festive break. Will have a think about days out/experiences thanks for suggestions!

Carrie76 · 15/11/2017 21:41

Thanks lostmyrubyslippers I’ll do that. 3 weeks and 4 days until my eldest’s birthday so nearly true!

Jedbartletforpresident · 15/11/2017 21:45

Reastie do you have a Tiger/Flying Tiger near you? They have all sorts of random things and many of them are a pound. Loads of kitchen things, bathroom stuff, cosmetic things, candles etc as well as things like notebooks and fun stuff. It is seriously my favourite place to browse!

Alternatively, but in a similar vein, if you have an IKEA near you, and can face going in, the marketplace always has random stuff dead cheap.

I would personally avoid Poundland and go for Home Bargains or B&Ms instead - they always have fab wee puzzles and things for a pound - great stocking fillers.

buckeejit · 15/11/2017 21:49

I also doubled up in Sainsburys today -£80 of wine for 'free'! On my 2nd trip a youngish man that has been gathering the trolleys outside for years was on the till - think for the first time & he couldn't believe my big wine shop came to £11 after coupons. I could tell he was worried he'd done something wrong & was scrutinising the receipt before he handed it to me. I said'great bargain with the double up nectar vouchers on the wine' and he looked relieved & said 'well you've certainly picked the best place to shop'. He was so thrilled. It made me happy. And as a bonus you can still earn on the coupon spend. I had a voucher for 250 nectar points on a £40 spend & it went through! 😃

CakeNinja · 15/11/2017 21:51

Well I went ahead and bought the Debenhams bag without a code, and am doing the cheese toastie subscription for my sister - I guess I'm not cut out to be a bargain hunter Grin

OrangeCactus · 15/11/2017 21:51

I’ve not spent my nectar vouchers yet. We don’t live very close to a good Sainsbury’s so I’m taking a special trip out to one across the other side of the city once dd is in bed on Friday night. Got £40 to spend on toys and £40 clothing so hopefully they have some stuff I want!
