I know how we all feel about IWOOT, but they have a flash sale on until midnight tonight on some of their lines 20% off with discount code XMAS and free delivery over £10.

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 14/11/2017 20:47

Right I have a challenge here for you ... 13 yo DS needs a new onesie and when I joked about it having to have ears and a tail he said "go on then, buy me the funniest one you can find!"

So folks, do your best Grin

Jedbartletforpresident · 14/11/2017 20:48

luckiest - who was the seller of the fake fingerling? Was it sold by Amazon or a third party seller? I'm another one with one on pre-order from amazon and getting worried now

BrawneLamia · 14/11/2017 20:49

Placemarking. Could someone please link to the marble run on amazon as I can't find it at that price. Thanks

Jedbartletforpresident · 14/11/2017 20:49

Jedbartletforpresident · 14/11/2017 20:52

Wilcos £10 blox sets (their version of lego) were all reduced to £7.50 when I went in store today

Is there anyone here who knows about stunt scooters and would be kind enough to offer some advice?
Ds7 has decided he would like a stunt scooter after attending a skate park party. It needs to not have pegs (as apparently they're not allowed on the park). I thought I had finished his presents so didn't want to spend a huge amount on one so I ordered a stunted urban xt from very for about £50.

It arrived today but I think it's going to be too heavy, I wanted sturdy but this thing really weights a ton! He doesn't ask for much so I would really like him to be pleased so am now thinking about a MGP VX7 mini but the cheapest I can find it is £99 with a £5 off voucher at skatehut.

Does anyone have any advice as to if it's worth the extra money, or a cheaper on par version, or of course, a more barganious way of getting it? Grin

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 14/11/2017 21:09

haha love the baboon one , the red butt makes it Grin (although it does only go up to age 12-13 so will have to check out the size instore)

Laska5772 · 14/11/2017 21:24

Galt marble run has gone backup to £10.99 sadly . i should have pounced earlier.. !!

Tacobella · 14/11/2017 21:27

Thanks autocat for the heads up about the Marble Run. I saw your post on my lunch break and quickly bought it. It had been on my wish list and absolute bargain at that price.

Pumpkintopf · 14/11/2017 21:32

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual would love an M&S code but the app won’t let me pm Sad

Tacobella · 14/11/2017 21:34

Somebody mentioned Sam Stern cookbooks on an earlier thread good for students and teenagers. Just bought this one for £2 on Amazon!

Llamacorn · 14/11/2017 21:41

@specialagentdalecooper I saw the most ridiculous onesie in primark today - in the ladies section, it was super bright colour with shiny legs and even 'shells' on the chest! £14 I think. It was ridiculous, maybe too ridiculous for a joke gift but majestic in a way too 😂 They also had fluffy unicorn ones, deer ones and many, many others in the ladies section so I'm presuming you'd get loads of novelty ones in the men's section too.
I found a pic online, I'll add it

Just been in sainsburys and there were a good few board games half price. Junior monopoly and cluedo for £5, buckaroo and kerplunk for £8.50, money off mousetrap and some thumb game (?) and pieface double as well, not sure they were all half price but I think so.

I got kerplunk! Blast from the past.

imsorryiasked · 14/11/2017 21:47

Several threads ago someone was after sprout items for their DS - just seen this sprout tshirt at Asda £4-£6 depending on size

slimyslitheryslug · 14/11/2017 21:47

I would also love an M&S discount code but can't pm from the app.

LoadOfOldBalls · 14/11/2017 21:52

My amazon pink fingerlings is genuine. The amazon ones which keep coming up for preorder at £14.99 should be fine. That's what mine was.

IHeartKingThistle · 14/11/2017 21:58

I'm looking for a big beautiful non-fiction book for DD (nearly 11) who likes to know stuff (but is a bit vague!). Not a straight encyclopedia I don't think though. She will spend ages trawling through big books with loads of info. DS has the Minecraft Blockopedia which is visually pretty cool so wanted something similar, a bit unusual. She's had the Harry Potter vault books in the past. Any recommendations?

Also, on the subject of books, can I recommend wordery? Quite often they beat Amazon and Book People on price, free delivery and NOV10 (I think) gets 10% off your second book (I ordered 6 books and it seemed to take the discount off more than one of them. I've been impressed with them.

FrenchieMum2Be · 14/11/2017 22:07

Quidco have got a £2.50 cashback bonus on all spend over £5 (you need to activate the offer here www.quidco.com/incentives/november-black-friday-bonus-number-2/ first). It expires Wednesday 23.59.
So for all our bargains don't forget to click through Quidco :)

hmslfc · 14/11/2017 22:09

IHeartkingthistle Have you looked at the What on earth Books? They fold out like wall planners and come with a little magnifying glass. I've recommend them on here before for a wide range of ages, we love them.

hmslfc · 14/11/2017 22:10

Also try code magicxmas for free delivery on sets of 3 or more.

friskybivalves · 14/11/2017 22:27

I have a trillion M&S codes. Shall I just put a few on here? Each can be used three times online and multiple times in store.

Also I bought a fingerling from The Finger Minkey which I think was linked in an earlier thread. It’s deffo fake. They have said I can send it back for a refund but haven’t said whether they will stump up for postage costs. It said ‘wowwee’ on the web blurb but have accepted that it’s nothing of the kind ConfusedHmm. Really boring.
