@cannoteventhink you need to give me a clue? I've been off MN for a long time!!

OrangeCactus · 10/11/2017 12:45

I need to buy a Hatchimal and a Little Live Pets ‘Snuggles’ My Dream Kitten. One for dd Christmas and one for birthday which is a few days before. Does anyone know how I would keep track of the best prices for these? Am I best off waiting until Black Friday and seeing if they are reduced anywhere?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 10/11/2017 12:47

Did i miss the gin tin deal? I cant get the search option to work properly.

Can anyone help me find a gift, something herbal tea or coffee related. The cheaper the better, because then i can buy them more. Budget is £10.

Alexindisguise · 10/11/2017 12:50

Has anyone seen an Air Hogs Thunder Trax with a discount anywhere?

Goldenbuzzer · 10/11/2017 12:51

I just used the l’occitane codes

Put a soap in my basket
Used code surprise to get free gift
Put in code xduo - hand cream tin was put in basket for £5
Selected That i wanted a gift bag
Selected free skin care samples.

Then I took the £5 bar of soap I didn’t want out the basket - so got it all for £5 with automatic free delivery

cookiefiend · 10/11/2017 12:52

Nice pink in ear headphones for £2.49 delivered if you use code NOV15 here

A nice little stocking filler for teenagers?

CannotEvenThink · 10/11/2017 12:53

sockeating I have just been looking through guides, I've not decided yet but I like the look of the slackers kits with guidelines.

EV mine was the last baby born, I was a student at the time. Are you still in the facebook group? Not that anyone has posted in there for a while.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 10/11/2017 12:55

Oh goodness I loved these threads last year!!!! I've left it late this time.

My contribution is that asda had some bargains. Lego city 3 in 1 box of police things including the helicopter for about £25. On another shelf they had just the Lego city police helicopter for £24.99 on its own so a good deal. Couldn't find it online so must be in store only. Also asda, little live pets my dream kitten cuddles is £50 most places but asda have the little live pets my dream kitten muffin (same thing just a different colour) for £38.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 10/11/2017 12:57

Orangecactus see my comment for little live pets.

OrangeCactus · 10/11/2017 13:00

Amazing thanks!

DubiousCredentials · 10/11/2017 13:00

@Goldenbuzzer thanks for the L’Occitane walk through! Great haul for £5!

torthecatlady · 10/11/2017 13:08

Thanks for the L'occitane tips. I buy their products all the time for myself and for gifts.

The hand cream duo in a tin is going to go perfect with a bottle of prosecco for my dad's gf and the the little cracker will be a nice treat for myself!

I opted for click and collect, as I'm heading into town next weekend to see the Coca Cola truck!

Mary1935 · 10/11/2017 13:10

Hi whoever put on the code for free gifts from magazines subscriptions via topcashback are not there today when I went on it. Thanks

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 10/11/2017 13:23

Some hotel chocolate codes I won’t be using

its nice the John Lewis nightlight is out of stock already. I've set up a stock alert so I can get one when they're back in stock

Igottastartthinkingbee · 10/11/2017 13:43

Apologies the Lego city police 3 in 1 is £30 not £25. Still a bargain. Sold out online so in store only.

MimsyFluff · 10/11/2017 13:47

Goldenbuzzer thank you

Llamacorn · 10/11/2017 13:54

Thanks @goldenbuzzer I managed to get some l'occitane goodies delivered for £5 too Grin

Flowers for Hotel Chocolat - received stuff today - wow! Tempted to keep subscription but have cancelled it.

Flowers to goldenbuzzer for L’Occitane walk through - what a bargain!

I bought the Molton Brown bauble set instore today and was tempted by a Frankincense candle. I resisted and at the till they invited me to a closed shop event next week where you get drinks, nibbles and if you buy anything a free goody bag. So looks like I have to buy the candle next week!!

Flibbertyjibbit · 10/11/2017 13:55

Great stocking filler for mil, thank you @goldenbuzzer for walk through!

SockEatingMonster · 10/11/2017 13:56

Thanks @CannotEvenThink, the checklist on the first link is particularly helpful. It's possible to start on a longer slackline than I had thought, so I will need to go and measure between all our big trees!

Is it wrong that I am basically buying it for myself, under the guise of a present for the DC?

EustaciaVye · 10/11/2017 14:00

I am on the fb group @cannoteventhink

Tip from me is to go to Superdrug and get lots of Zoella stuff on 3 for 2 then distribute it around any girl between 8 and 12. They will love you.

SockEatingMonster · 10/11/2017 14:00

Some bargains gathered on my travels around t'internet today. I have set myself a Christmas shopping deadline of the majority of all gifts bought and wrapped before 20th November, as we then have 2 long weekends away and an extended visit from an elderly relative to squeeze in between then and Christmas!

Wooden Block and Tackle (pulley!) £14.44 on Amazon. It has been lower, but is usually around £20

Rush Hour and Rush Hour Junior reduced to £10.99 at Argos. I can't recommend these games highly enough, for children and adults

feebeemee · 10/11/2017 14:02

More thanks for @Goldenbuzzer - that walk through saved me from buying products I didn't need! Smile
