its def this years toy!! I have two safely stowed away now i think you need stock alerts and be a constant visitors to the shop and make friends with teh staff so they personally call you when they come in.

I am overseas and just had a look online at our local department store and they have loads, but they all look like monkeys.

Do they use wifi?

I think the unicorn ones are Toys R Us only.

I signed up to the stock alert on toys r us for the unicorn one. I got one that way. Dd got a monkey one for her birthday in June and they were everywhere! It's not even a new toy, just Christmas hype. Good luck!

Oh and there are loads of fakes on eBay and Amazon so be careful

Monkeys were in The Entertainer today. The one with the climbing frame thing. £20

I bought some on Amazon and when they arrived they were all knock offs, despite saying Genuine Fingerlings

Toys r us has the blue, purple and turquoise in stock this morning. I was ordering something else but saw them advertised, clicked on the link, added to basket and checked out. Didn’t seem very hard to get. Not like last years hatchimal

I got one in asda yesterday so it's worth checking out local supermarkets. It was the turquoise one.

Ok help, I bought two a couple of months ago on Amazon. They say fingerlings, the packet looks ok but how do I tell a fake from a real???

I pre-ordered the sloth from Smyth's but when I went to collect last Thursday there were lots on the shelf and it had been two days since their delivery. The Argos set with frame and two monkeys for £29.99 is really good value but it's hard to find stock anywhere.

I got the one from argos 29.99 with 2 monkeys and climbing frame.

I checked website everyday at 7 am and finally reserved one this week.

Also ordered a unicorn one on amazon.

@Cockmagic - I'd be wary of the unicorn from Amazon, check carefully to make sure it's not a fake. The unicorns are an exclusive to ToysRUs.

Ah Casablanca I'm glad you told me . I've put a pretty order in will double check and cancel if it's fake.

I've just pre-ordered the pink one from Smyths. Not due in until the end of November.

@Cockmagic - unless someone's bought from ToysRUs and reselling at a big mark up then it's most likely a fake as Amazon aren't selling the unicorn. At the moment it's only available from ToysRUs.

My amazon ones never arrived despite being 'dispatched'.

I've ordered two sloths today from smyths

Ferriswheel DS aged 5 has asked for one for Christmas (so Father Christmas has done an 80 mile trip to find one ) and my SIL's nephew aged 6 has asked for one too.

For anyone is the West Midlands, I found unicorns at the ToysRUs at the Solihull Sears Retail Park this morning. A couple on the shelf and more at customer services desk.

cock I got that too I thought it was good value as its the same price for two F anyway and you sort of get the swing set for free.

November When i picked it up today the argos woman said how lucky I was to get one lol. Kids are doing their fads haha.
