I need a bit of advice from those of you with husbands who have beards of steel!!

My step dad has just asked for an electric razor, he hates them. Has whiskers that are very strong and has never found one that was any good.

However he has Parkinson’s and is not able to wet shave any longer, so he has asked me to get him one. Price is pretty much irrelevant, I need to find one that is up to the job.

Could anyone point me in the right direction please?

My dd's women of NASA Lego arrived today, I'm so excited! I want to build it! Not her birthday until December 23rd though.

She and ds2 are writing their letters to Father Christmas at the moment and I can hear all manner of crazy things being listed. I shall have to nab them before they send them and complete my shopping list.

The deal in this house is 1 main present plus a stocking of little bits and bobs but dd and ds1 have birthdays close to Christmas so I need a birthday present for them too. Currently trying to find a bargain bike for dd on eBay and failing.
