Did someone mention on the last thread a sewing machine that felts? DD has asked for a sew cool sewing machine but it sounds like the things it sews are packs you have to buy, the felting one mentioned dounded better...or maybe the same thing...? Annoyingly the in laws expect us to find them presents to buy for the DC so although we dont pay for then its more work finding stuff..

Youcantscareme, Lidl had sewing machines in on special yesterday. They were over £100 I remember, not sure how much you’re looking to pay.

@marshmallow, Superdry have an outlet store on eBay I believe. Not used it myself because I have a bricks and mortar outlet near me where I have picked up some really well priced items in the past. This is at Bicester Village and I know there is one at Cheshire oaks too, hth.

Has anyone seen any large pretty Christmas gift boxes that are quite solid so could be used for a Christmas Eve box for the next few years? Thought of getting a wooden one but would rather have something I don't mind ditching in a few years.

The first advent calendar would be ideal of a 4/5 year old, the second one I am thinking about getting for my 10 & 11 year old dds

Albus, we got ours from Zulily a few years' ago. The drawers aren't exceptionally big though!

I actually bought 2 different ones, but the drawers were so tiny on one that I couldn't fit the chocolates in that I'd bought! 🙈

Lidl do nice reusable advent calendars- about £5. Little felt pockets on rope. Better than the posh drawer in we have as you can fit little gifts for the children in it. The drawers only fit teeny chocolate coins or balls.
