christmasunicorn · 30/10/2017 05:57

Ah no idea why the short clicky link didn’t work there. Playmobil 123 Noah’s ark £10.89 prime members only

www.amazon.co.uk/Playmobil-6765-1-2-3-Floating-Noah´s/dp/B00361FUG4?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAJ7T5BOVUVRD2EFYQ&tag=camel3palerts-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00361FUG4

Thank you for the fingerlings/Tesco info. I can’t get the purple one to check out online (keeps saying not enough in stock but has it labelled as in stock Hmm) I was only in store yesterday but didn’t think to look so I may have to make a detour after work one day.

Casablanca78 · 30/10/2017 07:04

Thank you Christmasunicorn - I just got the playmobil ark for £9.78 on Amazon warehouse

Casablanca78 · 30/10/2017 07:07

For anyone who missed it on Amazon (now out of stock), Argos also now have the Playmobil 123 night train set for £9.99:

RJnomore1 · 30/10/2017 07:17

The Debenhams event has started, 10% of beauty 25% off most things and 40% off some womenswear as today's special.

outputgap · 30/10/2017 07:19

Kid's Dr Martens are 20% off in John Lewis at the moment.

And can I say thanks to the poster with the playmobil code. Worked for me for an advent calendar, so thanks!

handmademitlove · 30/10/2017 07:26

christmasunicorn I spoke with tesco yesterday about the ordering problem and they have raised it as an issue. They couldn't tell me if it was a technical glitch or there really was no stock but promised to get back to me this morning. I will let you know if I hear back! None in store at our local tesco and my Amazon ordered one has been delayed due to 'stock issues' so I am trying to find another!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 30/10/2017 07:28

I now have a playmobil ark and a train for no reason other than they were a bargain Confused do I have anyone to buy them for? No! Do I need them? No! Am I made of money? No! Did I buy them? Obviously 🙄

Sarahclacko · 30/10/2017 07:30

Heinz are selling cans of beans that you can personalise with your own slogan (their celebrating 50 years 50 years of Beanz Meanz Heinz) cost £1.50 and £2.99 p+p from beanzmeanzheinz.com might make a quirky gift for someone Wink

Wait4nothing · 30/10/2017 07:30

Highly recommend the ark for anyone buying for small ones - got it for dd’s 1st bday in summer (well I bought it after Xmas in sales) and it’s her most played with toy.

Sarahclacko · 30/10/2017 07:37

Sorry rogue link this one is direct heinz.co.uk but can only use eight letters Blush

mrsreynolds · 30/10/2017 07:47

Ok I give up
What's the pact code??

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 30/10/2017 08:22

I'm after a nice but not flowery China tea cup and saucer for DH. I'm not a tea drinker but he's been complaining about how much worse tea tastes out of a mug Hmm tried whittards but wasn't loving the designs on offer. I think I'm after a really thin traditional tea cup whereas Emma Bridgwater et al are all quite chunky

Ginxed · 30/10/2017 08:22

Great value on the Lego Minecraft Crafting Box 2.0 lego
Just 33p more than it's lowest ever price according to camelcamelcamel.

NoWordForFluffy · 30/10/2017 08:26

John Lewis and other department stores will do Royal Doulton stuff so maybe try there?

mrsreynolds · 30/10/2017 08:29

Ginger...you want bone China.
E bay sell seconds and discontinued lines...try there?
I favour spode and wedgewood

CarrotVan · 30/10/2017 08:35

Head over to the referral thread @mrsreynolds and click on a referral link for Pact

I managed to get nice tins from Ikea and am now in need of a nice and bargainous hand cream if anyone sees anything

Then it's just DH to buy for. Plus Advent calendar and stocking fillers for the boys, me, the MIL and DH

Thisandthat2017 · 30/10/2017 08:39

What a great idea for my hard to buy for husband Ginger! He would loves a teapot and bone China cup when we are out and about. Thanks for the idea! Now off on the same difficult search as you. Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same 😊

TalkingOrmer · 30/10/2017 08:43

I think I'd buy the china cup and saucer from an antique shop or ebay.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 30/10/2017 08:45

Thanks all for suggestions! And glad to be of inspiration ThisandThat!

We live on the potteries so my preference would be for local ware - Spode would be prefect! I'm going to trawl local charity shops as well I think as we are awash with fine china around here.

NoWordForFluffy · 30/10/2017 08:50

Ginger, I searched JL for china cups and got a fair few results:

m.johnlewis.com/search?search-term=China+cups

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 30/10/2017 08:54

Thanks fluffy! I think I've found something non-flowery at Spode but am going to keep looking for some alternatives before I buy. China is expensive Shock

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 30/10/2017 08:56

Turns out there's a Portmerion/Spode etc shop embarrassingly close to my work that I never knew existed Grin this might be my first non-online purchase of the season!

AlbusPercival · 30/10/2017 09:00

Ginger - t2 sell modern bone China teaware which is really lovely.

They do some great tea too.
