I'm trying to use the spend £50, get £10 off promotion at Toys R Us and I can't get it to work. I have 2 board games and a craft kit in my basket which come to £53. I have entered the code which is accepted but the total doesn't change. The board games have a couple of pounds off in the sale but aren't part of another promotion. I have selected click and collect for all items. Where am I going wrong? Does it not work on items with any discount, even a tiny one???

Can add a proper post to the thread! I got a £5 code from Argos a few days ago as it was my birthday (no minimum spend but had to be online, I paid online -the fast track thingy - but picked up in store so no delivery costs).

So if you sign up to Argos and give them your birthday as sometime soon you'll hopefully get a birthday fiver too. It's not much off but it's something!
