Those of you looking for Pokémon things my PoundWorld had a whole bin of these today. Key ring with a Pokemon in a poke ball that opens. Only £1 each (I got 4!)

Finally took the plunge and ordered two hotel chocolat boxes after the poster up thread said they were decent quality. I'll be gifting them to people who don't speak any English so it won't matter what I do with the paper inside! Chocolate roulette is fun sometimes, I hope

last year I bought some storage baskets from morrisons at about this time of year (they were reduced to half price), previously I've even used a washing up bowl (for a relative who prefers practical gifts)

Oh, I'm miles away from Oxford street! Anyone know if it's likely they'll extend it to other stores or online?

Went to take a look at the matalan Christmas pjs - not for us this year. Not very festive and not great quality, I'll be waiting out on the Hatley Black Friday sale at this rate.

Theimprobablegirl I had the matalan Xmas pyjamas last year and was pretty disappointed with them.* After only a couple of washes they went out of shape, kind of shrunk but went baggy at the same time. Shame as they were lovely (and I often shop in matalan and never had the problem with other clothes). Don’t know if this year’s are any better but tbh based on last year’s experience, I wouldn’t both buying them again.*

I wasn’t super whelmed by the choice in M and S, didn’t seem to have an awful lot of xmas pajamas but the qualities always good

Lots of really good reductions normal jamas for £6 a pair - raincoats for a tenner last year, think I got our family Xmas pjs for about 40quid and they're really good quality. The Hatley site on Black Friday is fucking awful though, lots of queuing/chucking your basket out and general knobbery.
