yumyumpoppycat · 21/10/2017 23:02

A better offer might come along before Christmas but the lego friends hospital is £64 approx. at toys r us, also a free storage box when spending over £20 and a £10 gift card if making other purchases to bring total to £100. www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/lego-friends-heartlake-hospital-41318-/TRUP2523040001

yumyumpoppycat · 21/10/2017 23:18

Oops the free storage box at toys r us is actually a teeny tiny lego set to make a teeny tiny storage box for the weeny hairbows etc Blush

Got sorted - AFPUMPKIN takes 20% off hand-picked favourites at book people (which made up most of my order anyway)

Rockhopper81 · 21/10/2017 23:27

I'm looking for stocking filler ideas for my mum - I seem to see lots for my dad (got him a Cornerstone razor, an EB mug, couple of really geeky thing and a shirt), but I seem to struggle for my mum. I've got her an EB mug and a bracelet, but am out of ideas - she's not into toiletries/smellies or candles, doesn't really 'need' anything...

I went browsing in TK Maxx today (as much as I browse - I don't like busy places, or RL shopping in general!) and came out with a box of paperclips shaped like 'geek glasses' for her, which is bizarre I know, but I think she'll find them funny.

Any ideas anybody??

RJnomore1 · 21/10/2017 23:35

I'm happy because dh decidedly unbargainous present arrived while he was out today - two prints of oasis photos from the Irvine beach gigs which we saw at the microdot exhibition. I just need frames.

Still looking for:

A nice aftershave
A gift for dh uncle and wife
Sweeties, DVDs and possibly CDs or vinyl for stocking fillers

I think I have everything else! Apart from a benefit brow set for dd1 but I'm waiting for a 10% at Debenhams or the next boots bonus points. I'm also trying to buy an nyx train case with boots pints for her birthday but it wouldn't go through for some reason.

RJnomore1 · 21/10/2017 23:38

Rock:

A DVD of a classic film
Voucher for a nice coffee - or afternoon tea if you feel generous
Nice gloves and/or scarf

DillieDoily · 21/10/2017 23:44

Mammyaroundmadness I bought the ninjago motorbikes from this seller on AliExpresss*

Peachy94 yep the mini figures are separate from the motorbike . They come in clear packaging as in the photo so fine for stocking fillers but maybe not great gifts for others

Just filled my basket with Hype goodies. Does anyone know of a free delivery or discount code before I checkout?

RJnomore1 · 21/10/2017 23:55

This is a big ask.

There was a book site on this thread a few years back who did daily and weekly deals e.g. Sets for 1p or 99p. It was round about twilight or hunger games.

Does anyone have any idea who they were! Not book depository...

beadyboo · 22/10/2017 00:06

After a bit of googling I found HYPETEN which gets 10% Off orders. Really pleased, rucksack, sweatshirt and flip flops for £26 delivered. You can even pay via your amazon account so I didn’t have to leave the sofa to get my credit card!!
Hope that helps someone.

I need some advice about a new mobile for my ds please. I want a package that limits our bill and doesn't allow him to go over pre set amounts. Does such a 'contract' exists? [blush ] I know I sound like a complete dollyhead

slithytove · 22/10/2017 01:38

Something, Tesco mobile lets you cap the contract

Toffeelatteplease · 22/10/2017 06:58

Yep I was going to say tesco. It will limit you to the calls texts and data you have in the contract. It will then allow you to set a safety buffer you can go into (mine is £2) after that it acts as pay as you go. So you can top up the phone to allow for higher if you want but no unexpected super high bills

spellingstress · 22/10/2017 07:19

something - my teen dd has my old iPhone 5 and a £5 a month contract with 3, that is capped at that amount.

TheDrsDocMartens · 22/10/2017 07:42

Sounds interesting RJ no idea but sounds somewhere I’d like.

Kragghooooooullllll · 22/10/2017 08:03

Zavvi have just sent me WELCOME346 for 10% off my next order. Not sure if it's one use or universal but I won't use it so feel free to try it.

NotPennysBoat · 22/10/2017 08:11

I’ve just followed a link on Facebook for Lucan Lorenzo, giving away free watches you just pay shipping (about £7). Can’t work out how to link to it but if you search FB for Lucan Lorenzo it should come up. Lots of different designs available (mens and womens).

NextInLine · 22/10/2017 08:14

May Alan have £5 off when you spend £20 on kids wear. Code : KIDS5
