Lots of unicorn and mermaid stuff for kids and adults there's some cool unicorn and mermaid make up brushes on there.

Mamma Mia : DD gets a good bit of play out of her OG doll and they are popular with her friends so it's really more a social benefit than a doll for its own sake iyswim.

It's good quality and the hair is still in great condition unlike other dolls.

I've ordered a few outfits from Ali express but they haven't arrived yet so I can't comment on quality.

And occasionally I see slightly cheaper outfits in TK Maxx

I don't think I'd recommend it for a child under 5 or 6

This Laser pegs toy is a good reduction. I think it's like a lego vehicle construction set that has a piece that lights it up. £12 ish including postage on Amazon

Quick update on some bits I ordered from Ali Express which arrived today.

I ordered various dolls clothes for Baby Annabelle and they all seem very good for the money- cheapest was £1.26, I love the Santa suit for £2.35 and the dearest one at £5 something appears to be an official baby Annabelle outfit. Will make great stocking fillers and took just less than a month to come.

Also happy with the ninjago Lego minifigures and motorbikes which arrived a few weeks ago - only 83p each including postage!

Scoleah my daughter got that one last Christmas and still loves to wear it when swimming. On her first trip to the swimming pool, we were challenged about the tail by the lifeguard but were allowed to continue once we had shown that the tail is open at the bottom to allow for leg movement. We have had no further 'issues' in using it at all except for having to hold the tail part when DD wants more freedom for her legs in the pool. The fabric quality was good, it's very soft and stretchy which is nice as DD has ASD and has sensory issues with clothing usually. It does fade a bit after time but I tend to wash the pants and tail inside out which I think has helped minimise this.

Glad the quality is good, some reviews said otherwise; but can’t go wrong for the price!

mammamia - we've bought my niece an Our Generation doll for Christmas (she was 5 in August). We bought it back from the US with us - it was a bargain, although a bit of a pain to pack - but I noticed a couple in TKMaxx today for £19.99, so might be worth a look in there if you do end up going for one.

I know my niece will like it, it's more what I would call a 'real' doll rather than a soft bodied/soft limbed-first baby doll. It's got solid limbs, but a soft body (albeit firmly soft, if that makes sense). I agree I'm not sure it would be appreciated by a child under 4/5 necessarily.

I've ordered some bits from AliExpress for her to go with it, I'm sure she's going to love playing with it.
