Bigarse the thing that has made the most difference to DDs sensory meltdowns has been her ADHD meds Concerta. I know they are separate diagnoses but you often get a collection of acronyms for the list. Her meltdowns aren't so severe and I know they are loath to prescribe Concerta that young but it's what's kept her in school. It's almost as if the drug improves her self control enough to buy us the time to help her when she is struggling. Also melatonin is a god send if you've not tried. I hated bedtimes before it. Also no child that is tired does well and it hampers self control and speech. If you can't find a sensible doctor, you can simply buy it in the vitamin aisle in the US if you know someone going. Hope it gets better

Thank you so much for whoever posted about the Asda large dollhouse. Had looked at their website but had only found the smaller one. Saved me a fortune as DD agreed to that one rather than the LE Van dollshouse at three times the cost. We also emptied her money box checking for pound coins and she had squirrelled away enough to buy it 😳

I mentioned last week about the muji candle that is supposed to smell like the ‘Winter’ white company. After a very slow delivery it has finally arrived and I’m pleased to report it does —had to light one for quality control purposes—
It’s not as strong (stronger the better for me) and I probably wouldn’t order without free postage. The tin is smallish but 4.99 isn’t bad. I’d grab one again if I was going past the store.

@Catanddogmake6 thanks. the only meds they are on are for gastro problems. I always said I wouldn't medicate but I think we have now reached a point where I think we know that if we were offered it we would have to take it. I spend my whole day worried that someone is going to get hurt and that I cant make them happy

Hi my ds has just said he is going to ask for a dragon (I think he may be testing me!). I know I can't provide a real dragon but was thinking of something like the fur real one however these are 50€ and not willing to spend it as he is coming out of toy age.
