Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

missmaxie thanks for the Whittards idea, I'd completely forgotten they existed. Got in-laws sorted and stocking fillers for dh and a teen! All with 15% off.

So I just got my EB order delivered. Cue excited openings, and then more thrills to discover I've been sent an extra mug! Anyone else? I now need to find someone who REALLY likes Amsterdam......

Llamacorn · 10/10/2017 11:56

@vinotime

I actually posted on the Christmas threads for ideas for my dd who will be 11 after Christmas, such a difficult age isn't it?? Have a look over there so see if you can get any other ideas from helpful mumsnetters!
We have decided on a laptop for her main and we're getting sims etc for it too. She needs a laptop for schoolwork and homework too so it's half educational!
She sounds very much like your dd in that she likes sewing and Harry Potter.
If you're thinking of a camera/Polaroid have a look at the hp sprocket. My eldest got one last year and dd10 loves it. You can print photos directly from your phone so you can edit them first and they print out mini Polaroid sized ones. The quality is better taken on an iPhone then printed than it is on a Polaroid. Definitely a hit when her friends come round.
She also loves lush stuff, and collects the Harry Potter pop vinyls too.

LoudestRoar · 10/10/2017 12:22

WhyamIBoredathome yes, ds will love it Blush

Hi, Does anyone have a kids karaoke machine or Bluetooth type microphone they would recommend? My kids love a singalong but not sure what is the best thing to buy (they are 6 and 8). Thanks!

WhyamIBoredathome · 10/10/2017 12:35

loudestroar who on earth dreams this up? Obviously not someone who has had to clear toddlerpoo out of the Bath!!

For next year I will design and release the game "cleanup the pukey carseat"

MrsCrimbo74 · 10/10/2017 12:37

Saw these lovely yarn bowls in Flying Tiger. Perfect for knitters and they also had a kids parachute which would be great if anyone is looking for a family gift/ shared gift between 3 or more kids

This is not a Christmas bargain but still a great bargain!
Image on food (like 'biscuiteers' do a new baby tin of 150g of beautifully decorated biscuits. The tins are currently being sold at £2.67 on amazon, normally £15. I was worried they would have an early use by date but the date on mine is May 2018.

Does anyone know how long Pact coffee will last? Just had some delivered and not sure whether to give to dh now or if it will last until Christmas?

MissRainbowBrite · 10/10/2017 13:22

If anyone follows HUKD on FB the Sainsbury's toy sale discounts have just been released. Looks very similar to previous years.
And I don't really need 3 Emma Bridgewater mugs but guess what I've just bought - Baaa! Couldn't get final total to £20 as the 2 for £30 has finished but I stacked a referral code and WELCOME15UK to get the spotty mug and two others for £26.91 which is still pretty good.

1stTimeMama · 10/10/2017 13:36

@missrainbowbrite do you have a link as I can't read the photo!

JemimaLovesHamble · 10/10/2017 13:38

I got my EB mugs, thank you! They are lovely quality, nice and chunky. Now I want to order the Halloween one!

WhyamIBoredathome · 10/10/2017 13:42

Flavourly also have a beer advent calendar for £59 using code "canvent"

I'm steering away from these though as OH likes mostly dark beers and the calendars will have too many paler ones that he won't enjoy as much.
Flavourly boxes was good because you can choose a dark box, which he enjoyed.

countingdown · 10/10/2017 13:44

My EB order arrived this morning. Huge box for 3 mugs. I seem to be drinking out of one of them at the moment! They were all supposed to be Christmas presents!

JangleJangleJangle · 10/10/2017 13:47

Random request but has anyone seen a puzzle board about that's on offer and has good reviews?

My 9yo DD is getting a 1000 piece Harry Potter puzzle and it's probably the one way she s going to have to keep it all together
