Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

SideOrderofSprouts · 12/10/2017 21:13

Claire's online
Has better offers than in store

ReindeerPoop · 12/10/2017 21:20

Thanks so much to @popdragon & @next inline for the ELC. Codes, I hadn't realised that Next had sent me one but found it when I looked for Pop's!

So Pop I haven't used yours, just for info in case someone else needed it!

Thanks again to both of you, I've managed to get DS2 a fab big city advent calendar for £20 rather than £25 😍

MooseyMoo · 12/10/2017 21:23

I've just bought Minecraft Guide boxset £15 and Minecraft Medievel Fortress book £3.50

I've got 2 Minecraft fans so have bought two sets and The Works have 30% off £30 today with TODAY30 so it cost me £28 and free delivery

Quidco have 12% cash back too

Aclockworklemon · 12/10/2017 21:25

I think somebody upthread wanted 13 Storey Treehouse collection.

I've just found them on Snazal for £12.99 exc. postage.

I haven't used this website or ordered as the book I wanted was out of stock so I can't vouch for whether they are any good.

That was supposed to be @nextinline

LikeSilver · 12/10/2017 21:30

Do Accessorize ever do codes? Or are they likely to have a sale soon? They have some many things my dd would love, but I haven't paid full price for anything yet Wink

TellMeItsNotTrue · 12/10/2017 21:31

SnowBody Thankyou, I saw your post and was able to pre-order one! I was out and the Internet was patchy and wouldn't let me post in here until I'm now home

I managed to let a few school parent friends know by text too so they are all thrilled and one is going to collect mine for me when she gets hers.

Its a big weight off my mind, as I said on a previous thread I think this year is going to be touch and go with believing and I was afraid that not managing to get one might tip the balance negatively

christmasunicorn · 12/10/2017 21:33

likesilver accessorize only did a 30% off everything last week. Only for two days though and was technically a student special but it seemed a universal code. They may have another before Christmas, I’ll keep my eyes peeled on my UNiDAYS app

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/10/2017 21:43

Shine a light! I thought it was being good by ignoring the EB mugs but suddenly realised I do need gifts for teacher. I know some people said they’re not always the well received gift but trying to steer away from the obligatory bottle of booze!

Have I missed it?!

cookiefiend · 12/10/2017 21:48

I saw some great buys in the cook book section on amazon- all quite new books all at their best price so far on amazon. For example the new Hugh Fernley whittingstall More Veg book at £8 not really a Christmas bargain as I bought it for me Much More Veg

A nice curry book from The Curry Guy which copies favourites from restaurants. I got it for hard to buy for BIL who loves curry, but need encouraged to cook. It is £6 100 Curries I may add some of those copper curry dish things you can usually buy in Sainsbury's

Sabrina someone's Feast book- of Persian cooking- looks beautiful for £6 Feast

Nadiya's British Food Adventure for £8 here it looks really nice

I am sure there are others. Every year for the past few o find they have a week or so with this years cook books a bit cheaper and then they jump back up for Christmas sales so worth buying now if you want them. I think most people assume a cook book is around £10 so if you can spend less it is a bit of a bargain.

SnowBodyforrrrm · 12/10/2017 21:50

Yes @tellmeitsnottrue I'm so chuffed for you all! I'm facing the same this year with a waivering 10yo DS. It needs to be more magical then ever as it's likely his last one as a believer.

I'd highly recommend the stock alert 🚨 website as I've managed to nab both luvabella this week and the LOL big surprise. Incidentally both were purchased around 9am.

AgnesBrownsCat · 12/10/2017 21:50

These beauties arrived today . They are all gorgeous but the Amsterdam one is especially pretty . I may have to keep them all

cookiefiend · 12/10/2017 21:51

Also if you have amazon student prime and spend £40 on books you can save £10 by entering code SPEND10

Finally, if you 'too up' your account with amazon credit before you buy there they will credit you an extra 1.5%. Hardly anything really, but like quidco etc, all these little savings can add up especially if you spend as much with amazon as I seem to

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 12/10/2017 21:53

Would a Hotel Chocolat box last until Christmas? I mean as in best before dates, not because I might eat them Grin

feebeemee · 12/10/2017 21:55

@GingerAndTheBiscuits I ordered a Hotel Chocolat box last month, best before date was Feb 2018 so you should be ok if ordering now for Xmas

LeavesinAutumn · 12/10/2017 22:02

Been ignoring the Emma Bridgewater mugs but having seen pic up thread can someone tell me if offer is still on please and what It was

RJnomore1 · 12/10/2017 22:03

Ohhhh

I made the mistake of looking repeatedly at the look fantastic advent calendar which is a thing of beauty! But now appears on EVERY pop up adverton my phone.

It's £79 and the 20% off isn't valid on it. Any ideas? I'm wavering...

Carrie76 · 12/10/2017 22:05

Fraggle i sent you a PM Ignore the 2nd one as freezingwinter said she's happy to wait. Thanks freezing I felt bad sending it to Fraggle without reading through all the posts

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 12/10/2017 22:11

Thank you @feebeemee!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 12/10/2017 22:11

RJ I don't know if referral gets you anything, or if it would work on the advent calendar (only joined last night so not really aware what the referral system is like)

Topcashback will at least get you a bit back Smile

Normalserviceissuspended · 12/10/2017 22:33

If I did a new account at hotel chocolat using a new email, do you think it would let me order another box or is it linked to address?

You can oder more boxes from your current account. It lets you get one of each of the sample boxes at £6.95 each- no extra free gift though.

NoWordForFluffy · 12/10/2017 22:35

If people use this link: www.hotelchocolat.com/invitedfriend they apparently get their first box for £6.95.

My BBE on the HC chocolates is also Feb next year, by the way.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 12/10/2017 22:38

TK Maxx online has lots of jellycat toys

BuffyFairy · 12/10/2017 22:42

@Freezingwinter do you still need an ELC code? I have a 20% off birthday one I won't be using. It expires on the 14th.

Ginger it was me who's after a Tsum Tsum advent calendar. Thanks for posting about the Asda one. Unfortunately DD wants the plush version.

Love the 'Do you know?' Cbeebies recommendation. We watched a few episodes today and DD is very taken with it. Made a welcome change to Nick Jr!
