Oh sock I really feel your pain. I had the same realisation last week Confused You can play any games that say 3ds on a 2ds but I don't know why you can only buy a bundle with tamagotchi already included on a 2ds and not a 2ds XL. Maybe someone with more knowledge will know!!

LostMyRubySlippers · 02/10/2017 22:13

peachy not sure what age your DD is but have you looked at scuttle bugs at all?
I got one last year for my DDs 1st birthday to grow into. It was only 20 off aldi website, worth checking amazon too. They have them at toddler group we go to & the kids love them, plus they fold up really neatly

BrickInTheWall · 02/10/2017 22:17

Could someone please post a link to the paw patrol racers on ebay? I tried searching for them but can only find a set for £18. I'm sure a PP said they had a set of 6 for £6 or something?!

Pumpkintopf · 02/10/2017 22:19

If anyone has a matalan code left I would be very grateful-thank you.

Brilliant idea on the bullet journaling and that looks like a lovely notebook.

Notlongnow1 · 02/10/2017 22:20

@peachy94 No idea sorry! Never had one just happened to have just seen the deal when on the site. Second the scuttlebugs as a great present. My little boy loved his - he even insisted on taking it to bed once! 😂
They are £24.99 in Argos 3for2 at the moment in case that's useful.

JangleJangleJangle · 02/10/2017 22:22

foof did you make a complaint against the seller of the shopkins because they were fake?

SockEatingMonster · 02/10/2017 22:22

Sorry @Tellmeitsnotrue Blush

peachy94 · 02/10/2017 22:26

Lostmyrubyslippers, yes I was planning on a scuttlebug as DS already has one but I thought the wheelybug was super cute 🙄 She'll only be 8 months at Christmas but I'm getting pestered from family for present ideas so looking at things for 1+ Because I want everyone to put too for a Garden play thing for her and DSs birthdays

SockEatingMonster · 02/10/2017 22:27

I know @endoftheworldasweknowit. The actual 2DS XL doesn't seem to be too badly priced, but £30 for the game seems excessive!

LostMyRubySlippers · 02/10/2017 22:32

jangle just waiting to see if tell me wants the £10 code as she missed out on the last one- otherwise it's yours
That's the only one i have left

LittleFryingPan · 02/10/2017 22:37

For everyone after Matalan codes, if you have the app they’ve got a reusable 15% off code on there. Think it’s linked to your own account though..

Well I haven't solved my 2DS xl woes, but I did stumble upon some very cute Pokemon and Super Mario Christmas jumpers reduced in the Nintendo store. Free delivery when you spend over £20.

VinoTime · 02/10/2017 23:36

I've just placed another Works order (will somebody please stop me!?) and got some fabulous bits at 25% off using code: PLAY25.

All prices include the 25% discount:

Beautiful tartan tin of playing cards and a games book for £3.75.

Traditional Bingo game for £2.25 and a pack of 4 Bingo markers for 44p.

Children's wooden London play set for £3.75. This looks sturdy and all kinds of cool!

200 Classic cocktails book was only £1.88!

Christmas tree shaped case full of mini Christmas erasers for £1.12.

Can't be bothered linking these wee bits but they're easily found:

Keep calm and colour mermaids colouring book - £1.50
Glitter unicorn poo - £1.50
Pretty unicorn calendar - £2.25
Unicorn grow egg - £1.12

beccarooney · 02/10/2017 23:39

Sadly I missed out on the free kindle/Radio Times subscription offer. Looking to buy a basic kindle (currently £60 on Amazon) for DD. Does anyone knows of any other offers hanging around? Or I guess I should just wait until Black Friday. I know they reduced Kindle Fire last year - does anyone know if they may reduce the basic kindle model too? Thanks!

CatLadyInTraining · 02/10/2017 23:56

Becca, I just checked and the Radio Times offer for the kindle still seems to work, you just need to paste in the special offer code in the OP. Am quite tempted myself....

TellMeItsNotTrue · 03/10/2017 00:11

LostMy Thankyou, but I am being good this year Grin so it's less than £50, good to see there are other people who can use it though Smile

QuilliamCakespeare · 03/10/2017 00:53

The Lego City Fire Ladder Truck is down to £13 from £17.99 on Amazon. Looks like a good price according to CCC...

crumbsinthecutlerydrawer · 03/10/2017 04:03

peachy I can’t remember exactly how much it was (£20something) but we got dd a small wheelybug on an Amazon Lightning Deal in November a couple of years ago. She got it for her first birthday, needed a hand staying on it for a little while but it lasted well, we only used it indoors, and it went up in the loft this year, she’s 4 in December, although small for her age.

Probably not terribly helpful but worth keeping an eye on Amazon and holding on. Not sure how big the large ones are but as dd is petite and the small one lasted so long, she probably would have outgrown it in age before she was ready in size.

margaritasbythesea · 03/10/2017 06:11

Can I just ask a quick question about kindles? How important is the built in light? It seems tobe the amjor difference between the basic and the paperwhite but there is a massive difference in price. Thanks.

There is some well-priced Disney clothing on Amazon today.

LostMyRubySlippers · 03/10/2017 06:15

jangle have pm'd you the code

QuilliamCakespeare · 03/10/2017 06:32

Definitely go for the Paperwhite. I have one and can't imagine it'd get much use without having the built in light. Well worth the extra money.

George22 · 03/10/2017 07:11

Agree with Quilliam that the Paperwhite is worth the extra cost. I've had mine for years and love it. The light is essential.

Kraggle · 03/10/2017 07:15

If anybody would like a challenge (and I'm desperate for help!) I'm after a necklace for DH, at least 20 inch chain I think as his collar size is 18.5, can be gold or silver with a cross pendant. Only problem is I can't really afford loads. If anybody can find something suitable please let me know as I've hit a road block!

NoWordForFluffy · 03/10/2017 07:21

Anything at Lisa Angel that suits, @Kraggle?
