@JangleJangleJangle, this clever lady has the loveliest Harry Potter bows I've seen: Harry Potter bows. They're not bargain-bargains but are incredible value for what you get and do work as little stand alone gifts too. We've had several bows from her now and the recipients are always thrilled.

(I tend to try to buy a few at once for the birthdays box to justify the postage. Luckily there are tonnes of other options so I've never really struggled on that account!)

LittleFryingPan · 30/09/2017 18:49

May or may not have just ordered Robert Grin

And I used the boots points offer today to pick up DHs aftershave for his stocking and some bath stuff for DDs Christmas Eve box. Got the best part of £40 worth of points to spend nowGrin

Still after a proper toy farm if anyone sees one and ideas for a nearly 2 year olds stocking...

friskybivalves · 30/09/2017 18:55

Loving the Roberts. (Not even Roberta??) But agree that the girth of the horn is disappointing. Looks more like a walnut whip if you ask me.GrinGrin

LostMyRubySlippers · 30/09/2017 18:59

Thanks gooseys I can still get 6 issues for £6 so can't complain but hate the thought of missing out on a free gift, lol!!

Ohwell14 · 30/09/2017 19:07

I got a Robert from home bargains last year for £10 he was pretty big too. Will be keeping an eye out for him again

MrsBennettsNerves · 30/09/2017 19:42

LittleFryingPan what budget for the farm? We have this and it's lovely, still in great nick after years of play, but it is the best part of £50. You could check on camelcamelcamel if it's likely to drop? MIL bought it for DS1 maybe 4 years ago so I don't know how much she paid.

Radio Times subscription offers

I love to have a copy of the Radio Times at Christmas, and buysubscriptions.com have got offers on at the moment.

1 - 10 issues, including the Christmas issue, for £1. Quidco offers £1 cash back. They do pay out on this, as I got it last year.

2 - 26 issues plus a Kindle worth £59.99 for £49.99. Quidco offer £5 cash back. Use code RTP3817.

3 - 26 issues plus a £50 M&S gift card for £49.99. Quidco offers £5 cash back. Use code RTP3717.

If anyone sees an offer like the Good Housekeeping one last year, I'd appreciate a heads up. I don't get the appeal of Emma Bridgewater, so the current offer isn't tempting me.

NoWordForFluffy · 30/09/2017 19:47

If you do get a Good Housekeeping (or other Hearst) subscription, don't forget to use Quidco. I got the 5 for £5 offer and then got £5 cash back (it's paid out, so not pending still). Bargain!

LittleFryingPan · 30/09/2017 20:00

MrsBennett i don't really have a budget as long as it's a good quality and good size. How big is the one in the link? It's almost exactly what I had in my head.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 30/09/2017 20:07

Does anyone know if the good housekeeping/emma Bridgwater offer has finished? Can't find it on the site despite ordering it yesterday!

Mel3383 · 30/09/2017 20:08

mumoftwo2017 · 30/09/2017 20:19

You will need to go to the last page to see most recent offers

SharkInThePark · 30/09/2017 20:21

@winewolfhowls thanks. Great ideas for them. Think my son will like putting them out then on the holder again too Grin Got the ordered!

MrsBennettsNerves · 30/09/2017 20:30

LittleFryingPan I've just measured, and each base plate is 47 x 31cm, and the two of them sit side by side, so altogether 47cm from front to back and 62cm from left to right.

Reastie · 30/09/2017 20:31

Ohwell we have the £10 home bargains unicorn as well as the giant Robert. Believe me, the proper Robert is giant in comparison! If I remember I'll take a picture of them together tomorrow.

Disney shop stores have unique code vouchers at their checkouts for 20% off on spends instore and online between 1st - 31st oct. There prob will be a 25% offer round black Friday though. I bought 6 yo dd a frozen wheely rucksack in Disney shop in there today for £7.99 - I can't find it online but it is similar to this but purple with a green pom pom www.disneystore.co.uk/frozen-backpack-427255311857.html also trolley version rather than just a rucksack. Any ideas for a similar bargain rucksack with pull out handles and wheels that a 10 year old might like please not that she was miffed by her little sister's early birthday present or anything ?

LiverbirdNo1 · 30/09/2017 21:18
