Interesting ikea link, nothing wow, I like the lights but in past they have been worse for harsh cold lighting

WhyamIBoredathome · 29/09/2017 14:47

Anyone know how mucj delivery is for the rocket and rose tshirts?

GerrardWinstanley · 29/09/2017 14:49

Sq1ggle DD2 loved the ones in you e second link and they're really good quality. If you stick an alert in CamelCamel Camel they are very likely to have some random but significant price drops before Christmas

HavingAnOffDAy · 29/09/2017 14:50

WhyamI

It was £3.95 on mine

Squ1ggle · 29/09/2017 14:53

Thank you Gerrard

Maya I got ds a wand with an illuminating tip several years ago from the pocket money toy section in John Lewis and it's still going strong. Haven't been in there recently but saw them still there last year.

Think I paid about £4 back then. Not Harry Potter branded - ds was going through a magic phase and wanted to be made lord high magician of the universe for Christmas... HmmConfusedGrin He got the wand and a note from Santa saying that he would have to work his way up to the position, starting with Apprentice, and if he put in many hours of hard work and practice as well as being a good boy, doing his homework, brushing his teeth etc etc then he might start to have some small successes by next Christmas, and if that was the case he could nove up to Apprentice Grade 2. Think by the next Christmas he was into Lego and football Grin

I am still a bit disappointed that his horn isn't bigger

Can I nominate that for the title of next thread?

Curious2468 · 29/09/2017 15:33

I really recommend playmags to the person who asked about magformers. They are bigger but get played with all the time! It's probably our most played with toy

Llamacorn · 29/09/2017 15:55

Wow this thread is on fire and so are the fingerlings it seems

Thanks reastie.

Unfortunately mine are too old for bilbos now. I've hit a slump.
Any bargains for a fussy 11yr old dd who isn't into toys? Hmm

yumyumpoppycat · 29/09/2017 16:03

This thread is on fire and so are the fingerlings - nominating this for next thread title Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 29/09/2017 16:04

Jut scrolled down -looks like the next thread title could be a long one!

Lurleene · 29/09/2017 16:06

I picked up the new Match 2018 annual in Home Bargains today for just £1.99. There were stacks of them.

Sadly I forgot I had bought it and DS spotted it so is currently curled up reading, hope this helps someone less daft than me!

captainjacksparrow · 29/09/2017 16:11

wornoutboots Wilko have a lovely one. Pop over to the large plush toy thread in Christmas as there is a pic of it. It looks lovely

Oh, dd has also asked for a dolls bed that must have a mobile above it, preferably of the baby Annabelle or baby born brand (that was dd asking for the brands not me!) if anyone sees anything relevant. I don't want to buy it for her because we have no space for it but she is dead set on it.

Playmobil farmhouse £28, it doesn't say it is discounted but is almost double currently on amazon

www.playmobil.co.uk/farm-house-with-market/5120.html

Boffered1 · 29/09/2017 17:11

Harry Potter light up wands available from Waterstones currently with small discount.

Also from b&m today I got a mini millions dispenser. Not on offer but a lovely gift for pre-teen DD at £12.99

Chocolateteabag · 29/09/2017 17:14

@wornoutboots - I got the Wilkos dinosaur last year for DS2 - it's big and v soft but not too huge

Dan Dino - saying he's £40 here but pretty sure he was £20 in store last week and I know we got him for £30ish last year

yumyumpoppycat · 29/09/2017 17:23

Reastie my dd wants a doll bed with a pink canopy (these are in argos etc) - I am def not getting it as her bed room is full to capacity - I also asked what is wrong with the pink bunkbed style doll cots in her room and apparently they are reserved for her 10 year old sister's cuddly rabbit even though they are actually full of loads of tat .

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2017 17:42

That dino looks lovely think I am going to get it for DN, thank you for the link and pics .

Mrsmadevans · 29/09/2017 17:47

TellMeItsNotTrue · 29/09/2017 17:48

Anyone who has posted referral link to Wonderbly

I know someone used my link because they mentioned it in here, what I didn't know is that 2 other people have also used it and I am able to claim my free book Smile Thankyou to the 3 people who used my link, that's another present sorted

If you have posted your referral link then check back on the referral page of the website to see if people have used your link, I expected an email or something to say I had reached the 3 people, so I'm glad I checked (I was just getting the url to try posting on my twitter, and I noticed I could claim) because it doesn't look like they tell you
