Ooh. Ouch!

TheWoollybacksWife · 08/07/2017 22:04

Ouchy! And I say that as a truly Celtic northerner who is blue for most of the year.

SideOrderofSprouts · 08/07/2017 22:08

It's all down my back my front and each arm and my feet

But not my legs. Nope they are still pasty white.

I
Hate summer 😭

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/07/2017 23:39

Ouch Shock

I put on SPF 30 once a day face cun cream last week (we went to Hyde Park, standing all day , to see Justin Bieber )
The sun was on my right side in the evening so of course, I had a lovely pink neck

73kittycat73 · 09/07/2017 03:09

You will all be delighted to know I have found the Christmas present stash!

73kittycat73 · 09/07/2017 14:30

Nice one tootsie! I was checking my list of gifts hidden the other day and came across, 'Mum box.' I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was, a box?! It came to me later thankfully, it was a decorative box made specially for a bracelet I'd brought. Doh! Xmas Grin

SideOrderofSprouts · 09/07/2017 15:19

Yay tootsie!

I'm running out of space for Mine

NoWordForFluffy · 09/07/2017 16:27

Me too, Sprouts (the wardrobe is covered in brown cardboard boxes!).

And yay, Tootsie! 😁 Now log them somewhere!

SideOrderofSprouts · 09/07/2017 18:50

I used to pile Amazon pantry boxes next to the tumble drier in our room
And cover with an old curtain. Now one questioned it. Now the girls are in our room
And dh and I
Are in the smaller room this will no longer work

DS is only 2, so we've not needed to hide them so far, really. They're currently under my bed just so they're out of the way. Oh, and DH's is in the back of my wardrobe, but it's not very deep and it's quite a big box, so not fantastically well hidden...

Think next year all presents will be being delivered to Grandma's as she has room to store them away from little eyes...

Ah, the old hidden in plain sight trick. We got away with that up to last year. It makes you chuckle though doesn't it when they walk straight past them. Xmas Grin

73kittycat73 · 10/07/2017 00:27

GAHHHHH! Sorry for shouting. Angry If my bold fails one more time...
'Scuse me ladies, just having a temper tantrum. Xmas Wink Xmas Grin

AnyFarrahFowler · 10/07/2017 07:12

167 Hurrah!
I found some earrings I bought my Mum intended for last Christmas the other week - oh well, one less thing to buy for this Christmas!

HairsprayBabe · 10/07/2017 10:41

Bought two more gifts this weekend

"The Physics of Star Trek" For DSis from a secondhand book shop she will love it, she is currently studying Astrophysics and Uni!

And a cute pair of spirit level cufflinks for DDad!
Slowly ticking things off Xmas Grin

SideOrderofSprouts · 10/07/2017 16:10

Wooo I have a job interview on Wednesday!!

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 10/07/2017 16:25

Whoop! Good luck, Sprouts!

What's the job?

VivaJen · 10/07/2017 16:40

I really hope it's something festive Sprouts

tootsieglitterballs · 10/07/2017 17:25

Good luck with the job interview!

I'm eagerly awaiting the ELC sale to buy one of DS Christmas presents - it's a happyland pirate ship , so if anyone hears of the sale before I do, please remind me!!

WHSmith had lots of the sets of books left over from Christmas reduced down to £5 (kids books) so I've picked up a couple of sets of those now too. Feeling rather organised this year now!

BiddyPop · 10/07/2017 17:45

Sending you positive vibes Sprouts - I feel your pain (mine is 9am on Friday!!)

VivaJen · 10/07/2017 18:11

AnyFarrahFowler · 10/07/2017 18:34
