Next door. Killed it on Sunday, poor thing.

HoHoHammered · 20/12/2016 13:49

The local butchers

Along with a joint of beef and the pigs in blanket

InfiniteSheldon · 20/12/2016 13:51

Lidl had a frozen one from there last year was better than any one I've bought before. I bought from the butchers before but Lidl was just as nice

Lireal · 20/12/2016 13:53

Local butcher

Bluntness100 · 20/12/2016 13:56

Waitrose one from Ocado, pre stuffed with charred Brussels sprout stuffing, they better bloody deliver it. 😱

dotdash · 20/12/2016 14:00

Lidl's. Bought a fresh one yesterday.

ShowMeTheElf · 20/12/2016 14:01

I bought a frozen one back in October. Can't remember which shop. History has taught me that I over-engineer (by faffing/marinating, stuffing, butterbombing etc) any of the taste benefits of spending a fortune so as long as it's free range I get it as soon and as cheap as possible.

blamethecat · 20/12/2016 14:10

Waitrose, frozen crown. Ds is 3 he won't care or just eat pigs in blankets and dp probably wouldn't appreciate the difference if I spent £££££ .

Heatherbell1978 · 20/12/2016 14:10

Tesco. Their finest turkey crown. Hosting for first time and keeping it simple by buying everything at Tesco.

Konyaa · 20/12/2016 14:11

Not turkey. Sainsbury's made to order Christmas duck and goose

itstheyearzero · 20/12/2016 14:11

Just got a huge crown from Aldi Xmas Smile

EagleIsland · 20/12/2016 14:19

Over here Turkeys are wild. It's a local tradition that a father son bonding activity is to shoot a turkey for Christmas, and one for thanksgiving.

MissKG · 20/12/2016 14:32

I'd love to try a goose for xmas but too chicken...see what i did there? Grin

SpeckleDust · 20/12/2016 14:35

Fresh one from Aldi. Bought it yesterday for about £15.

Cocolepew · 20/12/2016 14:37

Bought a stuffed crown this morning from Marks and Spencer.

MooseyMoo · 20/12/2016 14:41

Copas

CiderwithBuda · 20/12/2016 15:25

Not sure yet. Poss M&S if I can clear space in the fridge later and go in first thing tomorrow. Or Waitrose. Or local farm shop.

There is just DS, DH and I so we could get a chicken!

Arrowfanatic · 20/12/2016 16:20

Musclefood, delivered to the door and came with all the trimmings.

SmilingButClueless · 20/12/2016 16:23

Usually a local butcher, but using Cook this year as there will only be 2 of us
