Oh my goodness! I just got back from my local butchers (yes after seeing so many are buying from theirs) and they have this Copas Turkey mentioned on here. It's £119! Shock really, this is how much they cost? I nought £60 was a lot for turkey, ouch!

Market Porter with a hefty discount from the MSE website.

We are paying £60 for turkey, beef and pigs in blankets to do 2 days worth of meals

We are trying Sainsbury's this year through their Christmas food to order. We collect our turkey and all the trimmings on Christmas Eve.

The freezer in Tesco.

It's always tasted lovely, and the three day defrosting is part of the family Christmas.

A giant turkey glowing away in the corner of your bedroom means Christmas is here Xmas Grin.

Hallowedmimic - that brought back memories! We always had a fresh turkey growing up but it used to get kept in my bedroom as it was the coldest room in th house! I used to sleep in my dressing gown and socks and wear fingerless gloves to read in bed. Not sure your turkey would have defrosted in my bedroom! Xmas Grin
