Chipolatas bought from the butchers in a particular seaside town
Roast Potatoes
Yorkshire puddings (controversial I know...)

Anything else is fair game.

But the hallowed food is not be touched?

Red cabbage and bread sauce otherwise I sulk!

Gravy.

I've met people who think gravy is unnecessary. I had them killed and made into stock.

at my parent's house, the bird is always stuffed with haggis.

gives my dad terrible farts though, hence our annual Yuletide lament of "daddy ruined Christmas!"

Oh no, I forgot the stuffing! Has to be sausagemeat, sage and onion.

You could change the meat, swap other vegetables and stuffings about, but if someone served a Christmas dinner and there were no roast potatoes and parsnips and no sprouts to be seen I don't think I'd cope!

It's not Christmas without sprouts.

I always have a turkey, stuffing, sprout and gravy sandwich for my supper on Christmas Day. It's an absolute must.

Limitless gravy. It's such a big dinner, you need a lot of lubricant to help keep things moving.

Also: Turkish delight, Roses, cashew nuts, not forgetting smoked salmon open sarnies and champagne after church and before presents.
