I need stocking ideas! I've never done them before as my DS wasn't old enough but now I want to do one to keep him in is room and busy whilst we wake up! Wink so needs to be things he can open easily? What's going in your 4yo boy stockings?

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 26/10/2016 21:13

Checking in, thanks Reastie

LaylaTheMiddleAgedWitch · 26/10/2016 21:16

You could try this site Freco...

www.stocking-fillers.co.uk/

I took my inspiration from here. There's also a thread on Stocking fillers for 4yr old's on here.

winewolfhowls · 26/10/2016 21:19

In my three year old stocking if it helps, water cannon, stars to stick on ceiling of bedroom, spoke noise thing for bike, chocolate initial of his name from hema website, face painting paints and brushes, chocolate santa, special effects noise keyring

Placemarking... some of the shine has gone off my bargainous shopping since my abysmal order from the works (still not been refunded yet!). I'm sure I'll get back in the spirit in a few days!

IHeartKingThistle · 26/10/2016 21:24

Just been emailed a code for 30% off the A/W stuff at Great Plains - GP30AW. Can't imagine it'll make anything terribly bargainous but might be useful for someone!

needyounow · 26/10/2016 21:24

Some of the left over toy sale stock at certain Sainsburys will be reduce by 75% tomorrow.

gaggiagirl · 26/10/2016 21:24

y0rk is there a way round the p&p charge on those vaseline tins? It keeps adding on over a £ delivery for me.

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 21:25

Freco you want to make sure there's chocolate or similar for him to eat, and then things he can play with by himself to keep him busy until a decent hour one of you gets up to check he's been Xmas Grin

I read on here somewhere about wrapping stocking presents in tissue paper to make them easy to open. Or, if he wouldn't wake you up to help, lots of sellotape will keep him occupied for longer!

I can't wait until DS is old enough to 'get it'. Until then, DH will have to humour me!

MumboNumber5 · 26/10/2016 21:26

Ds's stocking has Melissa & Doug torch, space sticker book, chocolate coins, kinder egg, batman cape, wilkos small blox set, minions bath fizzer

herecomesthsun · 26/10/2016 21:28

Beautiful pink princess dresses in John Lewis, I think they are £10 down from £35, there is a similar one for only £8, size 6-8 ages.

frazzled74 · 26/10/2016 21:29

4yo stocking, satsuma, chocolate coins, fun bath stuff from lush, finger puppets, hair bobbles, playmobil blind bag, kinder egg, mini box of cereal , new toothbrush, and something wooden and traditional which I have yet to buy.

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 21:33

Disney store have got their medium sized soft toys reduced to £10 here, and then code VCPIXIEDUST reduces them to £8.50 unless you personalise.

There may have been a free p&p code floating around? Can anyone remember? Otherwise it's £3.95 delivery on top I think.

RaeSkywalker · 26/10/2016 21:40

Need to get my bum in gear. Baby due in less than a month. I still need to find some Soap and Glory bargains for my friends. And whiskey for my Grandad.

FireflyGirl · 26/10/2016 21:41

Was someone looking for a doll bathtub, or am I making that up?

Anyway, Argos have the Baby Born one reduced from £34.99 to £19.99.

RJnomore1 · 26/10/2016 21:50

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 26/10/2016 21:51

woodwaj · 26/10/2016 21:56

Helpmeltb · 26/10/2016 21:56

LavateLasManos · 26/10/2016 21:59

Yorkier not entirely sure what you're after but C.Oaks is virtually on my door step if I can help in any way

stillwantrachelshair · 26/10/2016 21:59

Quite a lot of duplo is at a good price on Amazon. Not necessarily the best price but lower than usual, e.g. £15 sets down to £10.

VoldemortsNipple · 26/10/2016 22:00

I'm off to London tomorrow to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Halloween Grin Meaning I've a whole day to waste on Friday. Any recommendations of places to shop for bargains. Mainly shopping for adults.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 26/10/2016 22:01

Almost done now Sad just wondered if anyone had bought the giant Amazon crocodile?
Also I've made a Drs kit for my almost 3 yr old using real equipment but can't find a bag for it. Toying with a briefcase but not sure he could manage? Any ideasFlowers
