I'm nearly done...just need a telescope for DS, if anyone sees one reduced please let me know. Keeping an eye on Amazon ATM, I'm thinking they might have some available on Black Friday?

PamelaEwing · 26/10/2016 15:11

likesilver we have a Krups dolce gusto machine and we have used it every day since we got it 3 years ago. Pods are easy to buy with a variety of flavours and drinks. There are usually loads of deals on the tassimo and dolce gusto's in the run up to Christmas Brew Grin

Baileys 1L bottle just £10 at Asda from 28th-31st October

Changingagain · 26/10/2016 15:17

Panther the codes I could find that may be of use to you.

REF50A £50 off fridges and freezers over £499 (yikes!)

BOSREFTI100 £100 off trade-ins with selected Bosch fridge freezers

BOSREFTI70 £70 off trade-ins with selected Bosch fridge freezers (I assume cheaper ones than the ones for the code above)

BIREF30 £30 off built in refrigeration orders over £299

While these are online codes, I'd suggest going to a store as it's the kind place you can often haggle and I think you could probably get them to honour the codes in store too. (years ago I went back and forth between a neighbouring currys and pc world getting a better offer on a laptop I was buying each time. I ended up with more than £100 off, a free bag and a half price printer which I was going to buy anyway. That was a good day 😁 especially seeing as they're the same bloody shop!)

Hmm that face looked more smiley and less constipated before I posted it.

CharlieWeasley · 26/10/2016 15:26

I'm almost done thanks to the amazing bargain hunting going on here.
But... I need an iPod touch - I could use a 20% new customer offer for Very but are they ever on amazon/John Lewis black Friday deals?

OrangeSquashTallGlass · 26/10/2016 15:31

Anyone who needs a little stocking gift for difficult to buy for men people: card protectors are cheap and quite a good idea. You keep your debit/credit/oyster/etc card in it and it protects them from being illegally read.

amazon card protectors
eBay card protectors

Right I need a soft bodied baby doll, preferably a boy, for Ds. Best i found is the Jack doll in elc but costs 10. Any advances on 10 for something similar?

PamelaEwing · 26/10/2016 15:45

Amazon currently have the Sylvanian Families Beechwood Hall Gift set (comes with living room and children's bedroom furniture as well as characters included) down to just £53.69. Lots of other Sylvanian room sets available on Amazon too at great prices. Sorry can't link Amazon stuff from my phone.

John Lewis have 20% off Sylvanian stuff but loads of it is out of stock.

unicornsarenotjustforchristmas · 26/10/2016 15:46

I remember someone was looking for a light box a few threads ago - I picked one up in primark yesterday for £12

balalalala · 26/10/2016 16:08

25% off joules tomorrow till Sunday with the code NUTS

WhirlwindHugs · 26/10/2016 16:11

The snapfish photomug thing from end of last thread didn't seem to work for me - possibly they've all gone. It did offer me 20 free 6x4 prints for being a new customer though.

DH has gone to fetch the playmobil ark - hope it's awesome!

DC are hugely keen on the playmobil dinosaur stuff but it hardly seems to be in stock anywhere including the playmobil website? Do they not make it anymore?

VoldemortsNipple · 26/10/2016 16:14

That Rubix cube is £216 Shock and only 11 left in stock. Who buys these things Confused

lazzaroo · 26/10/2016 16:18

I am back on the Hatchimals hunt. I ordered 2 from ocado yesterday, booked to be delivered Friday. Have just received this e-mail....

'We are sorry to inform you that due to a high demand for this popular product, we are unable to supply the Hatchimal toy you have recently ordered.

We’re working hard to secure more stock, however due to the popularity of this product and demand we cannot guarantee any future orders will be fulfilled.'

I'm a bit miffed that they are now unable to fulfil my order and I missed some in stock in Tesco as I thought I was sorted.

lookingforbaubles · 26/10/2016 16:19

my order for the 12 pound hush tights arrived before they sent me the cancelling email

today ive had an email from paypal saying the 2 pound hush payment has been cancelled

the whole process has been one great cock up!!

ReindeerPoop · 26/10/2016 16:23

Does anyone have any ideas on where to buy a real looking newborn doll? It's for a 9year old, she wants a newborn doll rather than her baby Annabelle but all the newborn ones seem to be for younger children (soft bodied etc)

Badders123 · 26/10/2016 16:24

Any Disney codes around?

RoastieToastieReastie · 26/10/2016 16:24

Thank you sweet pea, have amended.

Re the playmobil ark, we gave this to dd last year and she really loves it, a great buy.

I need help! It's my mum's birthday on Saturday and I have NO CLUE what to get her. She'll be 69 and likes travelling, walking, drinking wine and whiskey, gardening and birds, bit of a foodie.
She doesn't want any more books. I always buy smellies, earrings etc so would like to get something a bit different. I got her a nest box camera one year that she LOVED...I need another idea like that.

yaffle · 26/10/2016 16:29

Badders - re Disneystore codes YOURS20 gives 20% off when you spend over £50

SheStoodInTheStorm · 26/10/2016 16:29

Place marking

Thanks for the new thread Smile

CamdenTownie · 26/10/2016 16:31

I love reading these threads, but it makes me a bit sad that I'm not buying for little ones anymore.

We won't be in the UK for Christmas this year either so it's all a bit meh, we will be celebrating 'Chtistmas' on New Year's Day, so I'm not even sure it's worth buying much just yet.

The one thing I would like to buy is one of the Trolls from the film, didn't realise that the sainsburys toy sale finished yesterday, when I got there this morning everything was back to full price! So if anyone knows of a good deal is be interested.

I walked past a whole shelf of Hatchimals a few weeks ago and now it seems they are impossible to get hold of.

Badders123 · 26/10/2016 16:32

Thanks yaffle

OutwardBound2016 · 26/10/2016 16:37

Itoldyou what about a good travel mug, I have a Contigo and it's great. Or some leather gardening gloves my DM has some quite pricey yellow ones that have lasted years, maybe some nice Burgeon and Ball bits to make a gift?

Shufflebum · 26/10/2016 16:39

Argh kindle fires have gone back up in price, serves me right for dithering!
