I definitely think separate referral threads are the way to go - that way if someone does have an issue they can just take that thread down, not this one!

And oh god, just spent a fortune with the penny sale but hopefully worth it, thank you Amy Smile

RoastieToastieReastie · 28/10/2016 17:51

Amymumsnet my go to difficult male present (other than the ordinary chocs/socks) is the private eye annual.

RoastieToastieReastie · 28/10/2016 17:55

Should add private eye annual currently half price at Amazon for £5

Is anyone else having a panic??? I've finished for the kids but what if they ask for something different between now and Xmas??? Both have birthdays between now and then too so no other opportunities during the year!

TheDrsDocMartens · 28/10/2016 17:56

Anyone know somewhere that will make t shirts to order?
Dd1 wants a couple of T-shirts with quotes on.

sn0wdr0p4 · 28/10/2016 17:59

Does anyone know if Emma Bridgewater have a pre- Christmas sale, or have any discount codes.
Thanks

sixp · 28/10/2016 18:07

TheDrsDocMartens I just bought three t-shirts from Cafe-Press. One arrived in the size I ordered but it was just too small. I couldn't get the return enquiry form on their site to work and thought I might have to chalk it up to experience, but I emailed them in the regular fashion and they are putting a replacement in a larger size in the post and no need to return the original. No extra cost to me. Just wanted to share this efficient and lovely customer service story - we all know why!

AbleSeamanTitty · 28/10/2016 18:11

HungryHorace - It's my daughter who is allergic and this is our first Christmas since she was diagnosed with the tree hut and peanut allergy.

Any chocolate suitable for children, the normal things that children eat at Christmas. Would love selection boxes, chocolate spoons for snowman soup, stuff for stocking etc

smartiecake · 28/10/2016 18:15

Kinnerton chocolate is guaranteed nut free and they do small selection boxes and also bags of mini chocolate at Xmas and eggs at Easter too. Other than that we have cadburys dairy milk which my son is fine with - same allergy and also cadburys drinking chocolate powder in hot milk for hot chocolate.

APocketfulOfStars · 28/10/2016 18:15

Apologies if this has been posted already, I haven't got time to read the thread at the moment.

I Want One of Those are extending their clearance sale for 24 hrs (from lunchtime today) and also have an extra 10% off a £30 spend with code YAY

RJnomore1 · 28/10/2016 18:15

You know, the sad thing is I really wanted the hush rushed dress and I was going to get round to getting it with the £10 off, I wasn't even bothered about referring someone else for another ten pounds, but after reading all of this I will never ever ever buy anything from them.

Pengweng · 28/10/2016 18:34

toblerone that link doesn't have a specific colour on from what i can see.
I have similar moccasin fur lined slippers from M&S though and i think they were around the £20 mark.

Found them.
I have the tan but they come in a few colours. Navy, purple, tan and mink.

Badders123 · 28/10/2016 18:35

Agree re hush...I'm their target demographic but after this omnishambles I will never buy from them.
Interesting to hear the views about boots...I was saying very similar to my mum last week.
I've always felt that boots 3 for 2 was a a bit of a con really as the stuff is so ££££
I got the Xmas brochure and was very underwhelmed.
I'm pretty much done now TBH. Just a few stocking fillers and waiting on some Amazon ore orders.
If anyone can recommend a non £££ iPad Air 2 case for kids I'd be grateful...all the ones I order don't fit! 😖

SweetPeaPods · 28/10/2016 18:39

Reastie can you explain about private eye to me? Wondering if BiL would like it but it doesn't say much on Amazon

Oreocrumbs · 28/10/2016 18:43

My hush order came. Took the money on the 26th refunded it 27th parcel came today Confused I'm very nervous that they have my card details.

Although at this moment in time I'm in the better position, they scare me with their Hokey Cokey attitude to money, on top of the fact they consider us abusive fraudsters.... Hmm

Prizepudding · 28/10/2016 18:46

Not Christmas related but if anyone is still looking for Halloween Shopkins, Asda are stocking them. I just picked up some after having no luck in Sainsbury's and there was loads on the shelf.

LavateLasManos · 28/10/2016 18:54

I've seen a post on FB (can't comment on it's authenticity) that says the Argos 3 for 2 starts again next Friday (4th Nov)

SweetPeaPods · 28/10/2016 19:17

I agree on hush, fed

SweetPeaPods · 28/10/2016 19:17

Oops posted too soon!
I definitely won't be ordering from them

TheImprobableGirl · 28/10/2016 19:19

Randomly after not receiving any confirmation email, shitty email, grumpy fraud accusing email or despatch email- I received my hush tights today Grin

Thanks hush Wink

slithytove · 28/10/2016 19:26

Playmobil 123 Large Farm £32 on Amazon

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 28/10/2016 19:29

I sent hush a grump email saying delete me after accusations of abuse and fhen received an apologetic email today saying they are sorry I got caught up in it all with a code for £10 off. I sent a shitty ranty email back saying I didn't appreciate them blaming me for their mistake and asked them to delete me again. Just got back home and have a failed delivery note, it's probably the chocolate isn't it....

Fannyfannakerpants · 28/10/2016 19:37

Last year I got some paw patrol figures from ebay. Does anyone have any links to ebay or aliexpress for the newer figures or playsets/helicopter thing?

HungryHorace · 28/10/2016 19:44

Able, a quick Google has brought this company up: www.nutfreechocolatepeople.com

Looks like they do all sorts of stuff.

FlibbertyGiblet · 28/10/2016 19:45

fanny would you mind posting a link to the ones you've got? I am confused Hmm
