Wee stocking filler Hotshot marbles £1

RoastieToastieReastie · 28/10/2016 15:04

Right, there seems to be a lot of cure and simple referral links coming on ATM, which is fab we have another site we can share the love with, but I'm slightly scared about setting up another referral link thread after the whole hush fiasco which they are now saying we were being fraudulent by doing. But then, by not setting up a referral thread we will just have a stack of posts on here with links for everyone to scroll through. What should I do?

Probably been mentioned but Asda have got 1 litre original baileys £10 a bottle this weekend I got a couple( ok 4 😂)

BocolateChiscuit · 28/10/2016 15:11

These things tend to come in flurries reastie-it was ages ago that it was originally posted and died down. Maybe just hold off a while and see? Like you say, we don't want a repeat of the hush fiasco! Not biased I promise-I've well and truly had my share now so please use other people's anyone else going for the bacon! Blush

Abominablebride · 28/10/2016 15:13

Think we all got attracted to your lovely bacon picture Bocolate Smile

cookiefiend · 28/10/2016 15:17

Fraud requires deception. They imply we acted criminally, but we used a link which they had posted- followed the terms and conditions. That is not fraud. They made an error in not giving a minimum spend, but they got ten new customers they wanted (just scared them all away again by being awful). Don't worry Reastie- set up a referral thread.

It costs companies to acquire new customers. Either they do that by paying for advertising or they offer rewards for word of mouth advertising which works well- there are many wonderful sellers we have all discovered thanks to this thread- cornerstone, beer52, lost name, anorak etc. all of them have gotten our custom and no doubt repeat orders and further referrals. Don't let one rubbish and rude experience ruin the thread.

Camel camel alert to say that Dobble card game has dropped to £6.56. Bargain price. I paid £10 and worth it for that. Great card game for any age you can play anywhere!

Mrsmadevans · 28/10/2016 15:28

Thanks Sepsis just bought Dobble

JDSTER · 28/10/2016 15:32

I got Dobble last year for around £5 on Black Friday. Brilliant game, good for holidays as its small and comes in a little round tin

SmileAndNod · 28/10/2016 15:34

Does anyone know if the prosseco offer at asda is in store as well? Seems v reasonable, wonder what it's like and would I care after the first bottle?

HungryHorace · 28/10/2016 15:35

ReastieI would just keep referral codes on here. As already said, these things come in waves and the threads just move so fast. We all have certain things we are more interested in and it's quick to just scroll through.
Thanks for keeping these great threads going!

Somebody was asking above about sainsburys toy sale. I was in today and they still had some half price stuff out. I presume it's stock they really want to get rid of. Someone mentioned them reducing further to 75% off some remaining stock but there wasn't any of that in my sainsburys-yet

perfumedlife · 28/10/2016 15:58

25% off at River Island with code GRAZIAOCT16

RoastieToastieReastie · 28/10/2016 16:01

Jdster you see it may be quick for you to scroll through it all but when I'm attempting to keep on top of links and reading through every post on every thread etc which I know I do rather badly it really takes extra time to go through them and I know it's a flurry but there have been, and will be, a lot of flurries! I'm being purely selfish that it works a lot easier for me to have storage referral threads.

You asked what should I do. Just my thoughts....

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 28/10/2016 16:07

Can I just ask if anyone finds their Sparks card worthwhile? I'm finding myself shopping at M&S more and wondering whether I should have one.

Reastie I personally prefer separate referral threads because otherwise it gets so clogged, but I can see why you're reluctant. The Cornerstone one worked well though and I think it's probably just the case that Hush are superior bastards with their accusations of fraud.

lozster · 28/10/2016 16:07

For anyone ordering Sugru, please be aware that it has an expiration date. Just received two packs via Amazon in a gift tin clearly marked as expiring 16th December. Got to return them which is a pain. Thought that maybe expiration date wasn't important but a quick google suggests it dries out and won't work past then.

pantherfootballforever · 28/10/2016 16:12

Glad you mentioned that lozster - just checked my pack and it's dated Apr 17 - can't really return it seeing as DH will have 4 months to used it after Christmas, but I had no idea it had an expiry date on it and thought it could sit in a drawer for ages until it was actually needed! Ah well - he'll use some of it to repair the broken bit in he dishwasher and then who knows what other jobs I can find for him between now and Apr!

pantherfootballforever · 28/10/2016 16:15

Oh I've no desire to actually buy the silly sausage game feather bloody bop it makes enough noise in this house - I was just giggling immaturely at the ridiculousness of it!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 28/10/2016 16:16

20% off at Great Little Trading Company, code TREAT20. Valid on full priced stuff only.

For anyone anticipating lots more toys cluttering up your house post Christmas Blush then they do the loveliest toy storage. Not cheap but 20% off certainly makes a dent. Ds has a Christmas birthday so we have planned ahead...
