I was in Aldi today. They have their toy event starting on Thurs and it looks like they'll have some lovely stuff
Wooden market stall £35
Wooden dolls house £30
Wooden fire station/rocket £18
Wooden railway £15
Wooden kitchen £30
Compared to prices in GLTC (just had their catalogue through) Aldi stuff looks an absolute bargain (shame I don't want any of it!)
I did get some good fireworks though for bonfire night.

whoopsagain · 23/10/2016 14:27

Ocado have opened their Christmas delivery slots, booked mine yesterday.

They opened them ages ago here -I booked my 24th slot on the 6th October?

Hadiever · 23/10/2016 14:36

The Aaron aromatics candles that were mentioned on an earlier thread are lovely.

AdmiralCLingus · 23/10/2016 14:38

mammy homebase do some really lovely candles for a couple of pounds. We had a large yankee candle sized one for less than £3 and it throws the smell really well.

Thought I'd killed my bargain jawbone as I forgot to take it off when I went for an MRI.... but it survived! (And didn't get yanked off my wrist!)

AdmiralCLingus · 23/10/2016 14:39

Sorry meant to say that the candles come in different sizes, jar and pillar ones... it was just that I bought the yankee sized ones

cowssheephens · 23/10/2016 14:49

Thank you all for the Christmas glasses suggestions. I will have a look in B and M when I go into town next, 3D glasses sound fun but no good here as DS can't see in 3D!

CarrotVan · 23/10/2016 14:53

cow Primark had that sort of stuff near the tills when we went in yesterday

CarrotVan · 23/10/2016 14:54

Been to primark today. The full Xmas range of pyjamas are in. There were lots of pikachu onesies. They were fleecey though and my DC get too hot for fleecey onesies.
There were lots of marvel gift sets too. All at decent prices.

Wait4nothing · 23/10/2016 15:00

My local primark are out of £6 pj sets in large across all there (10 million) designs. There are some really nice ones too (was going to treat myself while buying mum's Xmas present)

Primark do tend to change and replace the designs right up until Christmas.

Wait4nothing · 23/10/2016 15:23

Thanks Piglet - will pop in next time I'm in town. We've also got a shopping centre an it further which has a huge primark that I'll probably visit before Xmas

Catanddogmake6 · 23/10/2016 15:25

LookMaAStone · 23/10/2016 15:36

Does anybody know if asda do a toy sale in the run up to Christmas?

Coldilox · 23/10/2016 15:37

I think that Dino charge is the gold power ranger?

ChestnutsRoasting · 23/10/2016 15:43

Ocado open their slots rewarding loyal spenders I think - I can't book mine until 11/11. Got a Waitrose slot in reserve!

AgnesBrownsCat · 23/10/2016 16:19

Would anyone have a boden voucher they won't be using?Have a few items in my basket and £10 discount would be much appreciated. Thanks

AgnesBrownsCat · 23/10/2016 16:23

Not really a bargain but anyone looking for warm fleece blankets. M and s have the most amazing fleece backed blankets. Work out at £32 with 20% discount but they are really large and the cosiest thing ever. I got the red snowflake one last Xmas and never put it away. Bought my mum the grey one in the Xmas sale for £18 and then bought my sister a red and navy tartan one for her birthday recently. Not a bargain as such but a great buy.

Scrantonicity · 23/10/2016 16:28

Matalan also have lovely fleece backed blankets in various designs. A 150x180 blanket was £15. So soft and warm.
IKEA have their gingerbread dough in, I find it makes a good dough for a gingerbread house (also bought a self assembly one there, just in case!)

Has anyone seen any bargainous vodka? Just bog standard stuff for making limoncello with, nothing special

mamapants · 23/10/2016 16:35

What was the sylvanian family deal? Saw someone say they had a third offbut have missed original link.

Thanks
