People wanting a practical stocking filler or small present, I've just seen these on 7dayshop - LED Safety Bands a set of 2 for about £4, depending on colour and number of sets bought.

Looks like they are bands have LEDs in them that can either flash or provide a long steady light, that you put around your arms/legs/bags/bikes etc to be safe on the roads in the dark.

I've also used similar in the past when we've been to evening events with the dc, in order to help keep track of them (eg if you get 2 sets and put say a red and blue on both of them, very few other people are likely to use the same combination so you have a higher chance of keeping tabs on them, especially if there's a crowd).

It's a shame with Hush as they aren't really a company I ever would have looked at before but thought their things were nice and probably would have brought quite a bit in the sale, especially as the leggings are highly recommended on here. Won't be bothering now though.

SomethingOfTheNight · 20/10/2016 13:00

I too have yet to receive bowls from GH. My subscription commences in December, so am wondering if nothing will appear before the first issue arrivesHmm.

I've also not received my Hush 3 x bars of chocolate for 50p order, but I haven't had my 50p refunded from PayPal yet. Confused

Hadiever · 20/10/2016 13:01

Thanks Neddle

Will have a look at the bath toys. He is an absolutely adored first child/ grandchild so has lots and lots of things. Bath toys night be the way to go

GnarlyOldGoatDude · 20/10/2016 13:03

I loved the IKEA episode itsnoice Grin

(Sorry for Kath and Kim derailment)

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/10/2016 13:10

I'd quite like someone from HUSH to come and let us know how the scheme was abused tbh!

They've seriously screwed themselves over here!

Badders123 · 20/10/2016 13:16

Massive PR fail from hush there
And a pretty poor response from mnhq too when asked about it! seems par for the course with mnhq atm Angry

winewolfhowls · 20/10/2016 13:26

Aldi toy event that is upcoming, the kitchen was bought by us last year and was only about twenty five quid. Very sturdy and looks like new still. Recommended

Thingywhatsit · 20/10/2016 13:29

My candle order has been cancelled! Oh well won't be buying ever again from hush. so they have alienated at least 100 customers from these Xmas bargain threads, and then is we all tell 10 people to avoid hush like the plague then they have potentially lost 1000 potential customers!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/10/2016 13:31

My order is still on hold, if they're going to cancel it then bloody donut because they've got £20+ of my own money.

Utterly stupid PR...absolutely ridiculous

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/10/2016 13:33

thingy friend of mine received her candle after using my referral link and really liked it, she's in charge of Xmas gifts from the boss to the whole office (35 people) and planned to buy them all HUSH candles...she's changed her mind after I told her about all this crap so that's £500+ plus all the potential customers gone just from one person

SymphonyofShadows · 20/10/2016 13:36

Not sure if this has already been mentioned by loudclothing.com has a blind box of 3 Adventure Time T shirts for £15. I got it for DS2 and it came this morning, he got Ice King, Jake, and a white one with Finn and Jake. I also ordered a little Kid Robot vinyl figure blind box for £6.75 which is the cheapest I've seen it

Strawberryfield12 · 20/10/2016 13:52

My tights have been delivered today, but the dress I bought afterwards using referral credit still appears as processing. I think MN had passed my home address to number of companies bcs I started to receive catalogues from companies that usually give discount codes to MNetters. Hush was one of them. Ironically, yesterday MNHQ sent their Swears By email saying that MNetters this week have been buying Hush candles.

Now, how many of us have received the Red Magazine box? Just checked email I subscribed on 25.09., it takes 28 days for box to come, so should be any time now. They have charged my bank account a week ago. So far only one report of the box on here.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/10/2016 13:55

For those waiting for the RED boxes, I've always found Hearst v helpful so worth giving them a ring

gaggiagirl · 20/10/2016 14:30

Well hush have spat their dummies out and henceforth pissed on their chips!

Thanks to this thread though I've been introduced to brands that I would happily recommend and buy from again. Hype being a great one. At least they honour orders. Great quality and fab customer service.

Balletgirlmum · 20/10/2016 14:31

I actuslly hope that cornerstone gain customers from these threads as they've been excellent so far and deserve to.

gaggiagirl · 20/10/2016 14:49

Yeah good on cornerstone! I would use them if DH wasn't so beardy.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 20/10/2016 14:55

Yes, I was thinking that. I didn't use the code as I didn't like the design of any of the £10 bags but I was really impressed with them honouring all the orders and the positive reviews that people have given for the bags themselves mean that I will definitely check them out next time I am shopping for a backpack.

However, even though I have bought from Hush in the past, I am not sure I would again....

Stealth Thank you! Those are fun! I think I am probably looking for something a bit more sensible though Grin

LittleMissA · 20/10/2016 15:00

I had my order from Hush yesterday and have just had the email to say it has been cancelled so I don't think they have a clue what they are doing.

imnottoofussed · 20/10/2016 15:25

place marking

sherbertdibdab · 20/10/2016 15:27

Can the M&S code be used in store? Or do I need the official email?

d270r0 · 20/10/2016 15:28

Ha ha excellent! Hush just emailed me to say they'd stopped my order and refunded my £2- yet the tights arrived yesterday! I'm not saying anything, up to them to sort this mess out!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 20/10/2016 15:28

Oh hype were brilliant! Will definitely use them again!

I remember last year (year before?) Lindt fucked up and we got a kilo of chocolate for something like £6, they said "woops sorry about that but we'll honour it of course"

Purely because of that customer service, I've ordered a bunch of times over the year or two...they were fab!

But if this is HUSH customer service then I really can't be bloody arsed with this crap to order again

perfumedlife · 20/10/2016 15:44

I've had no candles, no despatch email, no cancellation email and no refund from Hush. They're living up to their name clearly!

Freezingwinter · 20/10/2016 15:48

Winnie the pooh ty beanies are 2.99 in home bargains, they're really lovely toys.

Also is anyone after LUCY THE DOG? 25.99 In home bargains.
