Has anyone seen any cheap boxes for a 13 and 9 year old boy that I can fill with sweets (preferably under £5) something they can reuse so not too Christmassy

Starlight2345 · 16/10/2016 14:15

I did it a few years ago with a box from card factory Princess.

Princesspeach89 · 16/10/2016 14:21

Never thought of looking in there. Thank you starlight

Carrie76 · 16/10/2016 14:48

Tk maxx are usually good for boxes too

Changingagain · 16/10/2016 14:54

The Aldi website is crashing my phone but the £0 stuff all seems to be listed as in store only now. Presumably their quick fix while they fix the prices.

ChristmasEvePJs · 16/10/2016 14:56

Folly the M&S outlet had those tops for £10 each today. I got a black with gold spots for layering.

confuugled1 · 16/10/2016 15:04

Princess last year I got DC a tin of biscuits each in the shape of a biscuit - ds1 adores jammy dodgers while ds2 would live off bourbons if he could. I got them in waitrose but then spotted them in B&M (not my finest bargain moment Xmas Grin) and they now use the tins as their treat tins.
If you could find something like that you might find the tin is cheaper at B&M (Home Bargains is a similar treasure trove for these things) and you could put the biscuits out into general circulation and fill the tins with whatever you wanted.

They had some cute boxes and tins in Wilkos too - but they were very Christmassy. But they might have other everyday designs so might be worth checking out too...

Thanks for the saltrock link, just bought a hoodie for my brother, another present off the list Grin

Here's a link for anyone wanting 25% off : saltrock25%off

My hush order has been dispatched apparently!

shash1982 · 16/10/2016 15:09

DC2 just found the bag of stocking fillers after looking around in my bedroom, argh!

I only found out because he asked what 'those toys are for?'!

QuilliamCakespeare · 16/10/2016 15:31

Albelli are having a flash sale (24hrs only) on photo cards, prints, wall art etc. Up to 50% off.

LatriceRoyale · 16/10/2016 15:31

I'm on the hunt for the Thomas Tank Engine Minis Advent calendar. Can only see them in asda where it's out of stock or ebay selling for crazy money. Anyone else more knowledgeable about these things? We have only just started getting into Thomas, trains etc

SleepFreeZone · 16/10/2016 16:11

I couldn't find which hoody qualified for the free code. Anyone I put it the baske it only knocked a small amount off the price 😁

FeelingSmurfy · 16/10/2016 16:27

Any ideas for a 16 yr old boy, under £10. Pretty much keeps to himself, not into sports

iloveholidays · 16/10/2016 16:46

Thanks for your recommendations on CD players - off to have a look!

featherpillow · 16/10/2016 16:56

Can anyone help with me Top Cashback please?

They have good cash back on The Works but it says not to use any codes not listed. If I use the EMAIL25 - 25% off code will it cancel out the topcashback ?
TIA

QueenOfFuckAll · 16/10/2016 16:56

Sleepfreezone it was a code for free delivery for a hoody, not a free hoody.

FeelingSmurfy · 16/10/2016 17:07

feather I tend to use the codes, they are guaranteed but cashback never is. Normally don't have a problem getting the cashback when I've used codes though

featherpillow · 16/10/2016 17:21

Ok thanks Smurfy. I'll give it a go now.

Nursenat100 · 16/10/2016 17:51

Anyone on the look out for pj mask toys...I see they are now available in toy shops in the states. Can't decide if to have shipped or wait in the hope they arrive over here before Xmas...

lozabella · 16/10/2016 17:54

I'm slightly late to the party, but looking at buying a mermaid tail blanket for my 3 yr old. Are they huge? I don't want to buy one and it drown her!

Darkswan · 16/10/2016 18:01

Hi, I need to get a birthday present and a Christmas present for a 3 year old but I dont know what he likes. I think toot toot, but has a lot of it. Any suggestions?

LostMyRubySlippers · 16/10/2016 18:08

I ordered one of the children's size ones from twinkle deals & got DS to try it for size!! He is just 4 but tall- would say it was a great fit for him, enough space to cosy up without being stupidly big & couple of years growing room.. Sadly this meant it was too small for my intended recipient Confused but hopefully helps to give an idea of size!

LostMyRubySlippers · 16/10/2016 18:14

darkswan playdoh? Jigsaws? Craft type stuff?

Starlight2345 · 16/10/2016 18:34

Thank you Ruby slippers...
I was looking at those for a 7 year old girl... would kids size be too small?
