Chatty bargain hunters today, so here's a holding thread until Reastie finishes work

Has anyone seen any cheap boxes for a 13 and 9 year old boy that I can fill with sweets (preferably under £5) something they can reuse so not too Christmassy

I did it a few years ago with a box from card factory Princess.

The Aldi website is crashing my phone but the £0 stuff all seems to be listed as in store only now. Presumably their quick fix while they fix the prices.

Folly the M&S outlet had those tops for £10 each today. I got a black with gold spots for layering.

Princess last year I got DC a tin of biscuits each in the shape of a biscuit - ds1 adores jammy dodgers while ds2 would live off bourbons if he could. I got them in waitrose but then spotted them in B&M (not my finest bargain moment ) and they now use the tins as their treat tins.
If you could find something like that you might find the tin is cheaper at B&M (Home Bargains is a similar treasure trove for these things) and you could put the biscuits out into general circulation and fill the tins with whatever you wanted.

They had some cute boxes and tins in Wilkos too - but they were very Christmassy. But they might have other everyday designs so might be worth checking out too...

They have good cash back on The Works but it says not to use any codes not listed. If I use the EMAIL25 - 25% off code will it cancel out the topcashback ?

Sleepfreezone it was a code for free delivery for a hoody, not a free hoody.

feather I tend to use the codes, they are guaranteed but cashback never is. Normally don't have a problem getting the cashback when I've used codes though

I ordered one of the children's size ones from twinkle deals & got DS to try it for size!! He is just 4 but tall- would say it was a great fit for him, enough space to cosy up without being stupidly big & couple of years growing room.. Sadly this meant it was too small for my intended recipient but hopefully helps to give an idea of size!
