Thanks I'll take a look but DS was quite taken with the little live one (think it was the 'breathing' and sleeping)

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 15/10/2016 22:36

Also I'm looking for extra large Lego type bricks for indoor/outdoor use - have seen these on amazon - just wondering does anyone have them, or have any other suggestions/recommendations? Thankyou! Flowers

The Boden code has gone

RJnomore1 · 15/10/2016 23:12

Couple of things I've picked up from hot uk deals which I don't think have been mentioned

20% off some fragrances at super drug if you are a beauty club card holder - I don't know how to find which ones sorry but it looks like Victoria's Secret abd Hugo boss are definitely included

And the boots star gift is the zoells backpack down from £50 to £26. Seems to contain a travel mug, key ring and box of pencils.

Unluckycat1 · 15/10/2016 23:21

Stealth, girl looks very cosy there

Changingagain · 16/10/2016 07:11

banoffee we have these and they're good but I'd probably go for the pack you're looking at instead.

We got them to build a wall to stop DS getting behind the sofa when he was still rolling. Now he plays with them but luckily seems to have accepted the wall as a barrier not to go past even when he's demolished it (for now anyway).

The pack we bought has a lot of the half size square blocks in a quite a few sloped edge pieces too which means we ended up with a fair bit less, volume wise, than we we're expecting. Even if they were all full size, it's enough for a wall but not to build a den.

They are decent quality though, very light and bright colours.

MrsBellefleur · 16/10/2016 07:52

I picked my £33 Lego box up yesterday from Tesco, it's a lot bigger than I imagined so I'm very pleased! Just need to get a few smaller presents and stocking fillers for dd now.

Blasted Tesco! I ordered a toy transporter set with cars in the half price sale, did the click and collect, brought the huge box home and they've put transformers set in by mistake. No paperwork in the packaging box and the actual box of transformers is battered with a great big sticky label that's been torn off the front. It looks awful.

doctorboo · 16/10/2016 08:20

These threads have been amazing and have helped me get my bum in gear. Thank you.

I'm buying the:

Una the Unicorn Flashlight Friend £4.99 (and £3.99 for any extras you add to your basket) for my two youngest nieces.
www.highstreettv.com/flashlight-friends.html

And I'm lazily proactively buying all the teens gift vouchers as they're aged 13-19 and like to choose their own stuff.

matrix11 · 16/10/2016 08:32

I'm thinking of getting LED trainers from Ali express for DN but can't find the link. Anyone got it to hand? For those who've bought them are they good?

chicaguapa · 16/10/2016 08:46

Gosh! These threads are so useful!

Can anyone help with ideas for a 14 year old boy please. Looking to spend around £25. Thanks.

monkeyfacegrace · 16/10/2016 08:49

carrie I bought them and they are awesome!

The material is very stretchy though, the size I bought (7.5) fits me and I'm a UK 6.5
They were meant to fit a 5.5 as they are were for dd. So they def come up big.

If you haven't used Ali before there are various codes around, I got £4 off my first order so I paid £15 delivered.

Hang on I'll find a link.

monkeyfacegrace · 16/10/2016 08:51

weaselwords · 16/10/2016 08:57

I apologise, as I haven't read the whole thread, but Boots are now doing 3 for 2 so I got expensive Yankee candles for less for mum and sis in laws. Shore seem to have a lot on sale too as I was looking for t shirts for nephews.

rogl · 16/10/2016 09:02

Oreocrumbs · 16/10/2016 09:05

Badders123 · 16/10/2016 09:06
