Brolly If I were buying electrical goods I would certainly wait until Black Friday.

Freezingwinter · 14/10/2016 09:45

I'm holding out for black Friday too

BrollySmolly · 14/10/2016 09:56

Thank you - I'll wait!

Grin at toxic shock sale!

WhycantIhavearealwand · 14/10/2016 10:01

Anyone seen any bargainous gruffalo plushies? DD suddenly obsessed with 'fuffalo' and 'MOUSE', thought mini ones would make a nice stocking filler.

stealthsquiggle · 14/10/2016 10:07

I have seen various fleece pyjamas around and thought that I would cook in them - let me go find them again!

stealthsquiggle · 14/10/2016 10:10

these look pretty snuggy to me. I would imagine fingerless gloves and thermal socks would be key to feeling warm when you are internally chilly.

Freezingwinter · 14/10/2016 10:11

Does anyone know if toys r us do black Friday deals? I'm after a toy for a boy with zips, buttons, Velcro etc and they do one called bruin dress up bear. Anyone seen anything similar?? He's 15 at the moment which is still pricey!

I'm also after bargainous Vtech toys(but not toot toot) for a 2 year old

FireflyGirl · 14/10/2016 10:14

whycant Gruffalo's child £9.90. It's 16 inches, so you might need a bloody big larger than average size stocking Xmas Grin

Our local WHSMITH in the city centre has a 'clearance' department and there were some really good deals in there on books. Multi packs of Julia Donaldson books for £2 or £3, packs of 4 or 5 erasers for 30p Definitely worth a look if yours has something similar!

Is anyone else on the lookout for good deals on Brio train bits? We managed to get about this time last year, but not having much luck this time round. I'm really after the roundhouse and airport monorail sets, but they still seem quite pricey everywhere. I'm not being unrealistic, but wanting to save a few pound

Badders123 · 14/10/2016 10:19

Cheapest iPad deals I have found so far are on very.co.uk...
Got my DC iPad Air 2s with new customer 20% off and 3 months to pay them off interest free.

ohfourfoxache · 14/10/2016 10:23

One thank you ever so much for the Disney code Thanks

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 14/10/2016 10:24

White Company have an extra 10% off sale - code AP103

FireflyGirl · 14/10/2016 10:26

Matalan have 20% off all bedding with your reward card. You need the card number and code to buy online, by the looks of it.

Freezing Melissa and Doug do something similar, called basic skills board. It's £13.99 on Amazon and in Argos, but I got it for less than that at tq toys. It's currently oos, but if you're not in a rush it might be worth seeing if it comes back in. There is a delivery charge under £25, but they do loads of bargainous toys so it's not hard to spend the £25. A lot of us have bought these colouring packs for £1 to stock up the present cupboard, which are still around £5 everywhere else!

Anyone know of a more general Matalan code? I've got a fairly full basket I'd like to make some extra savings on!

mammyaroundmadness · 14/10/2016 10:34

My daughter really wants some Lego friends sets for Christmas can anyone recommend any good ones please?

neddle · 14/10/2016 10:56

mammy, not sure what your budget is, but this Rollercoaster set looks fantastic and isn't too girly.
Adventure camp is £6 off and the Treehouse is £10 off.

neddle · 14/10/2016 11:01

Lightning deals right now:

Preschool giraffe ball toy £13-59 down from £39.
Wooden actvity cube £16 from £40.
Orla Keirly pencils £10 from £15.

neddle · 14/10/2016 11:03

And if anyone needs 80 finger lights for £10.

Snooky17 · 14/10/2016 11:08

Matalan general codes are like gold dust, waiting for one too, Grr Matalan don't you want my money ? I can't possibly order anything and pay full price anymore lol

MooseyMoo · 14/10/2016 11:16

mama1980 My warmest pjs are from Hush and are lovely though v pricey. Here is one of this year's brushed cotton designs

WhycantIhavearealwand · 14/10/2016 11:25

firefly that is a truly bargainous but massive gruffalo! Maybe one for GPs to get not Father Christmas Grin thanks!

Equimum I'm trying to hunt down brio bits as extras for Christmas, ebay is worth a look, I saw a good deal on a roundhouse from one seller the other day.

MooseyMoo · 14/10/2016 11:28

mammyaroundmadness My DD loves playing with Lego 42216: Olivia's Exploration Car

I have got her this set as she loves art and is very creative (it was £4.99 earlier in week so recommend you do a camelcamelcamel alert on it): 41115 Emma's Creative Workshop

But her favourite Lego sets by far are Lego Elves (the dragons are amazing)

ChestnutsRoasting · 14/10/2016 11:28

Thanks for the Gruffalo's Child tip! Snapped one up because I love it for our two-year-old Flowers

TobleroneBoo · 14/10/2016 11:34

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the Asda Pyjama offer - got something for DM, DP, DMIL and my cousins DD!

Some of them are really lovely

FireflyGirl · 14/10/2016 11:37

Musical Olaf beanie baby £2.00 delivered with Prime.

I ordered this last week - it is good for £2, but the 20cm includes about 3cm of hair Hmm

And the 'musical' aspect is a demonic laugh. DS (18 months) will love it... Grin
