Sorry, forgot to put the code on - it's NIGHT20

HiDBandSIL · 14/10/2016 07:33

Thanks monkeyfacegrace

On the last thread (I think, they're moving so fast) there was a link to a Pokemon cards set which got me thinking that football-card-collecting and Pokemon-mad DS might like to start a collection.

I also remember reading that the cheaper packs from Aliexpress/eBay are fakes and not suitable for trading/playing with. DS is 8 and, as far as I know, no one at his school collects these cards. I imagine he'll just want to read the stats and collect them as he does him football cards. That said, given that the original (1999?) cards are still in play, it's feasible that he might one day want to play/trade and I don't want him to be disappointed that his collection is worthless... hmmm... can anyone recommend the cheapest way to get lots of genuine cards for under £20? Or should I just buy the fakes?

I wonder if the after Christmas sale on Molton brown will be good, I think they may have ordered stock based on last year but they will have nowhere near as many orders

LavateLasManos · 14/10/2016 08:02

I've just managed to order Lego Dimensions Starter Pack for the Wii U for £44.99 in Argos, and they even have an offer to get a free fun pack (worth £12.99). Made up with that bargain Xmas Grin

IsItGinTimeYet · 14/10/2016 08:03

I bet it is Feeling.

Strawberryfield12 · 14/10/2016 08:04

smurfy I wouldn't expect them go below the usual sale offers because they have to keep their brand image and all, but I could be totally wrong.
On previous thread people were guessing if the free body wash with GHK is the bauble one. I had a look at baubles volume, they are 75ml not 100ml.

supermariossister · 14/10/2016 08:08

Ds shark blanket came today am really pleased with it its so soft and he will love it. EBay UK seller, it was 12.99 I think.

Anyone know of a deal to be had with an iPad mini? I'm expecting to pay full price but any money off would be a bonus. Thanks for all the bargains!!-

McNo · 14/10/2016 08:28

iPad Mini 2 is £140 in Asda in store only according to U.K hot deals

LavateLasManos · 14/10/2016 08:30

Apparantly there is a "toxic stock" sale on at Asda until Saturday.

MumboNumber5 · 14/10/2016 08:36

On the hunt for sylvanian families stuff if anyone spots a bargain!

super who was the seller of that shark blanket? looks fab.

FireflyGirl · 14/10/2016 08:40

Wellhello your best bet will probably be either Black Friday, or taking advantage of new customer deals at places like Very.

Toy sale at B&M. Worth a browse - they have a Rapunzel dress and toddler doll for £19.99. And blublu the dolphin.

Thanks to whoever posted the secret garden adult colouring books. Arrived yesterday and they are fantastic, much better than I expected. Look their full £15 worth but cost less than £2. Very pleased with them

sherbertdibdab · 14/10/2016 08:53

Nursenat think lush do an advent calendar, not released yet but might be worth a look?

Mama1980 · 14/10/2016 08:56

Morning all thanks for the bargains so far,
I'm looking for the softest most comfortable warm pyjamas ever....any recommendations please? Doesn't necessarily need to be bargainous, for a friend who is going into hospital for treatment and she has been warned that she will feel very cold. Thanks

sherbertdibdab · 14/10/2016 08:56

Just had a look, not really a calendar as such and defo not a bargain... LUSH , you can get bits cut to size in lush so you could get some mini soaps etc to make your own?

BrollySmolly · 14/10/2016 09:07

Heading to Asda now to look at the iPad minis - Ipad is on my teen's Christmas list. Does anyone know if this is the best iPad option / deal at the moment??

Not entirely sure Brolly (had a giggle that you wrote shock instead of stock, made me imagine shoppers dropping like flies with the excitement of the sale), but there's more details here
Asda Toxic Stock Sale

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 14/10/2016 09:22

Book people have a sale on today and EXTRA10 will give you an extra 10% off.

Lapinlapin · 14/10/2016 09:22

Brolly I got an iPad mini last year on Black Friday from John Lewis. Can't remember the price now, but it was the cheapest I'd seen it anywhere. Might be worth holding out til then?

Vistaverde · 14/10/2016 09:31

Today only 25% extra off the GAP sale with MOSTGAP.
