nick this is the star and moon lamp I got DD. It comes in different colours for the base and you can also get ones with planets on as well - though they're a little more expensive. Price varies depending on which one you get. Not a massive bargain - I was just really taken with it Smile

DD's pink one is £10.55 down from £14.55.

CarrotVan · 25/09/2016 09:38

And they're out of Game gift cards!

GreyerbytheDay · 25/09/2016 09:39

Lots of the Lego elves sets down by 27% on Amazon now. This is a really good discount

AdmiralCLingus · 25/09/2016 09:50

Admiral that's annoying. I used the code this morning on a schuh voucher. I wonder why it won't let you use it! Sorry it hasn't worked. There is a 'contact us' section under 'more'. Might be worth seeing what they say. Thanks for using my referral though I feel bad now that you haven't got your freebie Blush

Sorry for the mammoth post Blush

Wiifitmama · 25/09/2016 10:20

If anyone has older kids/teens that would love some american candy/chocolate, I just found that the site www.americansweets.co.uk has a clearance section. Lots of different stuff heavily reduced. I ordered a bunch as sticking fillers. You do pay postage and it is only really worth it for older kids who realise it is american stuff, but considering that it costs a fortune in those pop up shops that are everywhere, I was quite pleased!

FireInTheDisco · 25/09/2016 10:20

Baldrick we bought two of the Lego friends sets at Argos and got the advent calendar free as it was cheapest. Best deal I've seen so far for them. Also had a few sets reduced in my local Sainsbos

Shine0n · 25/09/2016 10:26

FireInTheDisco did you get a free £5 voucher in Argos for spending more than £20 on Lego sets? I've seen the offer advertised but not sure if it also works with the 3 for 2.

fourquenelles · 25/09/2016 10:28

Ella thank you for the link to the pug scarf. StepDIL's stocking is coming on a treat!

dillyduck · 25/09/2016 10:43

Any teacher presents that could be used in the classroom, for primary teacher, I'm thinking it would be thoughtful, save teacher money if something she would buy, all kids get benefit from it, teacher isn't going to be overrun with it...I'm thinking sort of decorative I think, they have plenty of books and the art supplies are fine

I cant see the poster text but they wouldn't be suitable to put up in a KS2 classroom. Display is carefully chosen to match the curriculum and the days of blanketing the classroom with random stuff is long gone.

Imagine if you worked as a doctor and they bought you a packet of disposable syringes.

Whatdoesaduckdo · 25/09/2016 10:48

Whatwillicall I am in the north.
Cashback was with top cashback

SelfieStick · 25/09/2016 11:14

This just popped up on FB: a weirdly, galaxy/stars/space covered rucksack for 78p! Might do for a quirky teen?

bag

Badders123 · 25/09/2016 11:18

Matalan have a very cute unicorn for £10
Not Robert sized but very sweet

SelfieStick · 25/09/2016 11:18

I just bought one of the above mentioned bags after thinking what I could do with it, and remembered I'm going to put together an art hamper with adult colouring books and pens/pencils for my DSS(8) with a Star Wars theme! So I can put it all in that bag for him. For 78p it's worth a punt, anyway. Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 25/09/2016 12:03

Thanks Vino looks great.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 25/09/2016 12:04

The bag is back up to nearly £8. I'm annoyed. I was going to donate them for the Mary's meals school bags

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 25/09/2016 12:05

RJ thanks that wooden hospital is lovely. Not sure about the scary doll Shock

rogl · 25/09/2016 12:09

Thank you wiifitmama I've ordered a load of sweets for dh, he will love it is

woodwaj · 25/09/2016 12:18

Ive been ordering from american sweets for a few years now! Great choice and good value. Delivery can be very overpriced though. Hopefully he will share the ones i got him for his birthday tomorrow Grin

Mipe · 25/09/2016 12:27

Selfie I ordered 2 of those bags for a similar price at the end of August but they haven't arrived yet... Fingers crossed they will turn up!

Reastie I got one of these disco lights for my dd (10) and it looks great!

The Works sent me a discount code today, it is EMAIL25 for 25% off any order over £10 so I got the make up advent calendar and some more stocking fillers from ShineOn's list - thank you!

Neeko · 25/09/2016 12:35

First post this year. Had a quick flick through the thread yesterday and it gave me the kick I needed to get started.

Don't know if they have been mentioned before but I found unicorn bud ear phones in Primark yesterday for £2.50.

VinoTime · 25/09/2016 12:40

Anyone pre-ordered the Nintendo Classic Mini NES?

Great gift for tweens and teens alike. Release date is 11th November. Many childhood memories spent on my old Nintendo console Grin

Would love to order but I'm a bit uneasy about pre-orders. I don't much fancy needing to scramble to get the money back right before Christmas if they cannot fulfill the order due to demand.

Wiifitmama · 25/09/2016 12:45

I ore-ordered direct from Nintendo as they had a free stuffed mario with it. I am worried though as they say new stock in December. Cutting it very fine!
