I think I'm going to need two Lego calendars, if anyone sees/knows how to get them at the best price.

Was planning on the smuggle ones for my older girls but I'm put off now!

I purchased a few things from Wish yesterday, never used it before but I think it's either part of Ali Express or like it. Delivery takes a while but I got a few small things for pennies.

Finger puppet family £0.95 (dd loves the daddy finger nursery rhyme so thought these might be good)

Shape Matching eggs £1.90

Small play mat where you can put Lego on etc then scoop it all up £1.90

And finally 4 packs of Bunchems (50 per pack) for £1.00 each.

Obviously I don't know the quality or anything yet but will update when things arrive. If some are rubbish at least I haven't wasted lots of money.

I've also been bargain hunting on eBay and won some second hand Squinkie things for just a few pounds, the gumball machine with some squinkies with it and then a second set of squinkies, all for about a tenner when a set of squinkies is around £12 on Amazon so it's always worth checking eBay out every now and again.

Forgot to add, I did pay delivery charges of around £10 from wish so you need to take that into account.

Ieccy pinterest have some lovely homemade ideas for hot chocolate gifts. If you get a jar and fill it with layers of chocolate chips, cocoa powder and marshmallows. Tie it off with a bow and a pretty spoon. They look very nice

leccy I had the same angst and asked on Facebook and the consensus was the apostrophe goes at the end.
I then saw the postage was £4 so I decided against one after all. There's no code or offer is there?

MrsBelle I'm really getting into that Wish app. It's what I scroll through after I've caught up scrolling through this thread. It's like a second fix. I've ordered a few things but not received anything yet.

I am loving the idea of amagical window got Robert appearing on the wall over night at Xmas. Dd may be 12 but she's also daft as a brush and she would looooove that.

DH also vetoed the Unicorn so I text him asking if a 4" Teddy was okay instead.

might have accidently, on purpose missed the 3 off the end of the 4 so we have a 43" teddy on his way to us!!

I went for the unstuffed one, so he is easy to hide until Christmas morning!

Can't wait to see both DH & DS's faces Grin

For those missing out on unicorns, I can confirm giant stuffed toys are a horrid dust magnet and you soon get sick of hoovering them. If you have animals, they soon start using them as their new beds too Grin

Me: Do you like this Christmas train?
DH: Yes but what made you buy it?
Me: Well it was on the MN Christmas bargains thread.

Ickle Where are you going to buy enough stuffing to fill the teddy?! It'll take cost loads to fill.

Costco have got good big (150cm ish) giant teddies for about £20 each in store. DH bought one a couple of years ago for the dc and it's a magnet for all visitors (usually sits on the couch). HSo far it's only my mother that is bemused by him and my miserable, hates the thought of anyone enjoying themselves BIL that is rude about him (mostly I suspect because dsis and her dc would love to have one and he woukd take great pleasure in stopping that from happening).

He also makes a great comfy cushiony snuggly thing to lie on the sofa on and fall asleep, far more comfortable than using any of the other cushions we have!

They also have them online but for about £36 including delivery.

Last year they had similar sized polar bears in too. DS2 was shopping with me and when I lifted him up to see what was in the box (loads of 150cm polar bears) his jaw dropped open and all he ciukd say was 'huuuuulllllooooo heaven' Xmas Grin but mean mummy that I am I refused to get one as I figured white would soon look grubby whereas dark browm hides a multitude of dirt.
