Reastie told ya Grin

Liquid definitely go for happyland. My DD still pulls her old happyland farm out now occasionally and she's six. It's great stuff.

luckiestgirl · 20/09/2016 16:38

toasty I have the Hotel Chocolat tasting club once a month (was a Christmas gift from DH). It was great for a few months but the chocolates can be so rich and varied that I often find I'm backed up with them by the time the next box comes because I don't eat them quick enough.
I suggest getting them every 8 or 12 weeks then they'll be more of a manageable treat.

TodayCrosbyToday · 20/09/2016 16:41

Liquid
We are big Happyland fans in this house- both DDs have had it since their 1st birthdays and it's practically indestructible! DD1 had the pirate ship for her 2nd birthday and still loves it now at nearly 4 years old. I've been eying up the new pirate cove for DD2!

SolomanDaisy · 20/09/2016 16:42

Candy, IKEA have just started doing a doll's house that looks quite nice. We have the take along playmobil house and haven't had any problems with it though. (Though do not buy the evil bastard playmobil adventure playground, which is a nightmare to put together and then comes apart if anyone breathes near it).

RueDeDay · 20/09/2016 16:44

My Robert is apparently being delivered today... I'm sitting waiting impatiently, afroth with excitement!

EmGee · 20/09/2016 16:49

At long last my DM didn't throw out my Boden mail this time including 10 pound vouchers(that goes to her address) and I have finally got a code to use. I'm ridiculously excited. Should I find nothing to buy, I will post it on here for someone else.

On an aside, I remember lots of reductions on Playmobil last year. I would like to get the camper van and seem to remember it went down to 22 pounds or something like that last year. Does anyone remember??

Another question, what is Lego Junior like? The DDs got Cinderella's castle last year which I built but it didn't get played with that much it's awfully fiddly so I dont recommend it so I've dismantled it and stuck it away for future use. My youngest is 4.5 so wondering about Lego Junior for her.

Sorry no bargains to post but I'm on the prowl.

Ali Express have some lovely Pusheen Cat socks for only £1.09 and free delivery Smile.

CandyMcJingles · 20/09/2016 17:15

Solomon DD's grandparents bought her the Playmobil adventure playground and yes it is currently lying in bits as usual. She has a Bing one which is nearly identical but doesn't come apart as well, much better.
Will check out IKEA.

Chocolatekeepsmesane · 20/09/2016 17:17

I ordered Robert on Sunday so maybe he will come tomorrow.

Reastie you gave in to temptation Grin

AmyMumsnet · 20/09/2016 17:28

Hi all,

Today we've spotted that Whittard have 3 for 2 on all of their hot chocolate (if you can hold off drinking it until Christmas!) with code 3FOR2
Waitrose have up to 1/3 off wine and champagne

<a class="break-all" href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/8004514/type/dlg/sid/Moneysaver_20Sept16_MPU_discount/www.gap.co.uk/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Gap have 40% off all womenswear today only with code HERGAP

<a class="break-all" href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/8004514/type/dlg/sid/Moneysaver_20Sept16_MPU_discount/www.gltc.co.uk/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">GLTC have 20% off rugs, bedding and curtains (they have some lovely star-print bedding which would be perfect for Christmas but not too garish for post-Christmas use!)

<a class="break-all" href="http://track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=185523&wgprogramid=11985&wgtarget=www.elc.co.uk/offers-and-outlet/3-for-2-on-elc-branded-toys/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ELC have 3 for 2 on branded items if anyone wants to get the ELC till in a bundle?
and
La Redoute have 40% off everything (including kids clothes) with code BIG40

The Death Star ice cube tray may also be getting a sneaky mention in tonight's Money Saver newsletter... Xmas Smile

Hadiever · 20/09/2016 17:33

Batman
What about the imaginext fire engine. My little boy still plays with all his imaginext toys and they last really well

stealthsquiggle · 20/09/2016 17:35

There is a really cool Playmobil123 Fire Station too..

stealthsquiggle · 20/09/2016 17:41

I am wanting a unicorn more and more...Do you think we can persuade Smyths to do a price match - the nearest ToysRUs that has it is a LONG way from here?

We do have the giant crocodile and snake from Smyths - both a few years old now and still very much loved if a bit saggy so I can recommend them - and the crocodile is longer than Robert and has been in both the washing machine and tumble drier with a certain amount of persuasion and he does still have nightmares

Darkswan · 20/09/2016 17:42

We got the elc till in boots 3 4 2 a few years ago for those who want it. If there are other things you want (love looking through the boots christmas catalogue) it might work out good

torthecatlady · 20/09/2016 17:45

Thanks for the pusheen socks! Treat for myself! Any other pusheen bargains to add to my Christmas list?

TheDrsDocMartens · 20/09/2016 17:50

Personalised stuff that's not from studio ( pita in the past ) any ideas? Can only ever get 1/4 of my kids names.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 20/09/2016 17:56

Instead of elf on the shelf you could do Robert on the shelf and keep us updated with his exploits (I can't because I was sensible Sad and boring Envy ) you'll need a bloody big shelf mind Grin

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 20/09/2016 17:58

Oooooh maybe Robert could get some antlers for Christmas morning? I need Robert in my life. I think getting pregnant on the off chance it might be a girl is probably a step too far though

RJnomore1 · 20/09/2016 18:02

Robert on the dining table perhaps?

wornoutboots · 20/09/2016 18:08

pretty bird rechargeable night kught www.amazon.co.uk/Artis-Portable-Dimmable-Rechargeable-Bedroom/dp/B0174TDB78

60% off

RoastieToastieReastie · 20/09/2016 18:14

Thank you amymumsnet for mentioning the Death Star ice cube thingy going on the email being sent out. I've had that in my basket for a while but not purchased yet so I placed the order incase your newsletter meant it went out of stock.

Fueledwithfairydust I've got it, Robert with the antler inflatable thingy with hoopla game that was on Amazon a few threads ago (see piccie for what I mean). That would be the Mn bargain thread summed up in one photo! I shall be posting this the other side of Christmas.

Drs have you tried Ace catalogue? I also hate Studio with a passion

Link to personalised pencils here

They calculate delivery, though, so don't know how much that will be.

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2016 18:16

Beer advent calendar anyone? - popped on my facebook feed

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2016 18:19

littlemagic - DS2 is 3 just before Christmas so last year we got him:

beanbag chair from Great Little Trading company - ££ but he does sit on it a lot still
Balance Bike
Ride on Tractor - £30 from Smyths with a trailer and he still uses it
Tractor Ted DVD's and books (try Amazon)
Tractors and farm toys (Schliech from ELC etc)

All of the above are still used a lot now and by DS1 (5) too
