flumposie · 19/09/2016 20:39

Could someone do a link to the 'Christmas at the ...' signs or remember which previous thread they were on ? Thanks.

SnowBodyforrrrm · 19/09/2016 20:39

Can anyone recommend a small children's CD player (without microphones)?

Please can anyone give a yay or a neighhh for the Lego calendar. It's pricey but I do like the look of it. Just wondering if anyone has had one before?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 19/09/2016 20:51

Isn't it funny how a good few our the bargains on here, end up on the Facebook page Bargain Events, Sales and Coupons Wink

They've just posted about the big unicorn

Christmas at the xxx signs - I went for the bigger size for 4.99 and they are wonderful.

stealthsquiggle · 19/09/2016 21:06

Thanks for the Smiggle code - brought the Smiggle advent calendar down from ludicrous to just expensive Grin

RaeSkywalker · 19/09/2016 21:18

Ruby I've bought one for the last 5 years for DH

You do get a fair amount of 'stuff' for the price. I'll buy one again this year for sure. Several of my friends buy them for their DC each year.

cookiefiend · 19/09/2016 21:19

When I had the LEGO advent Calander before I had children I liked it, but I think £20 is far too much. It is fun and I'm not even really a LEGO fan, my mum just thought I'd like it. I am sure children would like it I've bought it for friends of mine too

stealthsquiggle · 19/09/2016 21:22

Can anyone come up with a genius idea of things to put in a refillable advent calendar for DS (14). I did fake Lego minifigures last year, so something of a similar size....?

SweetPeaPods · 19/09/2016 21:22

Girlwiththe it's on play pennies too

LikeSilver · 19/09/2016 21:26

Has anyone seen any bargain tractor toys? City kid DS is obsessed after we saw one every morning on holiday.

BoaConstrictor · 19/09/2016 21:28

Snow we just got DD a CD player from ASDA. It only cost about £18 and seems to do everything you need it to.
Shestood I remember much muttering on the thread last year as Argos prices went up for the 3 for 2. Worth hanging on for if you need three similarly priced things but otherwise may be worth buying now.

disneyprincesswannabe · 19/09/2016 21:29

Guardians of the galaxy titan hero series rocket and star-lord only £5 each!
Also there is this rocket for £9.99 reduced from £39.99. My ds2 loves guardians of the galaxy so if anyone can find this dancing groot for under £15 i would be very very grateful

RubyFlint · 19/09/2016 21:35

Thanks Rae and cookie - that's all I needed, I'm sold! I've bought DH the porky scratchings advent this year so I think DD deserves the Lego one! Off to buy it. Must sit on hands after this. Thanks for your help Flowers

Darkswan · 19/09/2016 21:37

Not at all christmas or bargain related, but I'm fairly new to mumsnet - where is the best place to post looking for advice? Dd2 keeps taking her nappy off and weeing in the cot and I'm hoping someone has a genius idea to stop her, but I don't know where to ask!

Darkswan · 19/09/2016 21:43

Likesilver

They had several tractors last time i went to the entertainer. I liked this one best.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 19/09/2016 21:50

Thanks Boa. Think I am just going to buy them!

MrsCammy1 · 19/09/2016 21:50

Hi been following this for ages but never posted!

Those looking at Lego calendar but put off by the price, Wilko do their own version of the calendar compatible with Lego. Maybe not as good quality but looks good for the £5

cookiefiend · 19/09/2016 21:53

Just did hotel chocolate £6.95 including a free hot chocolate sachet and £5 back through QUIDCO? Hope it works- surely too good to be true?

luckiestgirl · 19/09/2016 21:54

Darkswan you need to start a thread in the Parenting discussion topic.

stealth there are a few ideas here.
(All I could think of was edible stuff, or money)
