Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

Dailymail Twinkledeals have come up on my Facebook feed with some mermaid tail blankets for £10 inc delivery. Reviews are good.

Tacobella · 17/09/2016 18:43

Does anyone know when the next 3for2 will be on at Argos?

lozster · 17/09/2016 18:44

I got the following link from another mums website Blush when I was googling for stocking filler ideas netpricedirect.com.uk. Imaginext lionhearted cade is £16. I paid £19.99 in quality save even last christmas. It's a great toy.

In my local quality save they were just doing the Christmas shelves so they were largely empty. Small hot wheels play set (car plus 3 pieces of track and stunt activity) were £3.9@z

This giant unicorn was about when my 11 year old was just 2. Theyre really gorgeous and look so awesome infront of the tree on Xmas morning, a real WOW present. More a WOWWTFWIST (wow WTF will I Stick That) for parents though so think hard before buying... a unicorn is for life, not just for Christmas 😁

Incidentally, here is a throwback pic to show you the size. Hope it helps :)

Pinkladymel · 17/09/2016 18:51

I've just realised this is the horse version in my photo and completely different 🙈 but theyre the same size... you get the idea...

Damnit... just when I thought I was being useful...

Humidseptember · 17/09/2016 18:51

Another one here agonizing over that unicorn, it would be an absolute show stopper to have that under the tree {agonizing emotion} ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The reality is it looks like such a big bastard ....how long would it last for in terms of novelty value then the storage of it.

Thanks for the brandally code. Got 50% off two long sleeved tops for dhs birthday.

Anyone seen any discounts on paw patrol( sold out of the previous one on here) bat man and Spider-Man items and fisher price small works items please?

Groupon has lots of bargains on there. Got lots of stocking fillers for dcs

Chocoholicmumma · 17/09/2016 19:28

Those of you wondering about the giant unicorn, this is my dd (6) with hers, she is average size for her age. She loves it and even tried to sleep with it in bed with her for the first few nights (until she fell out of the bed!)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 17/09/2016 19:40

I've just been catching up with this thread and just wanted to say that I got those virtual reality googles (or very similar) in the sainsburys sale. They are fab. There are some seriously good and free apps you download to phone and watch through the googles. Huge hit with adults and kids in this house.

Pinkladymel · 17/09/2016 19:54

My daughter keeps her giant ladybird at the bottom of her bed. It's a pain in the bum throwing it off the bed and lugging it back on when making the bed but really worth it.

She lies back on it to prop her up reading books, she puts her arm around it and snuggles to fall asleep, she puts it on the floor as a giant bean bag when playing with friends (and they're always really excited to sit on the giant ladybird). I think we focus a lot on making sure things 'do' something or have a purpose, because we've been burnt by so much plastic crap taking up our limited space... but we forget sometimes you need toys for the soul too and this definitely has been a huge comfort and love for her.

P.s.the humongous IKEA shark is also a showstopper under the tree £15

I'm going to buy the unicorn Grin for dd2 who is 2.... But dd1 will also want one- and I live in a two up-two down so very unlikely to be space for two Confused do I get them one to share or will it just cause arguments?

user1471499267 · 17/09/2016 19:59

Also wondering about the next 3 for 2 at Argos if anyone knows when it is??

SelfieStick · 17/09/2016 20:01

Arguments, I think. You're gonna need a bigger house for the unicorn, face it. Grin

lozster · 17/09/2016 20:05

Heck so many typos!
That should be lion heart castle

Thingywhatsit · 17/09/2016 20:14

Yeah I finally managed to get hollister stuff 😄😄😄😄😄😄 if anyone lives in remote areas and keeps getting us site, try using 3G instead. I can only get the uk site using my 3G on my phone! Managed 7 t shirts and a hoodie for £57 so am very happy 😄

Now I seem to have missed the link for this unicorn - does my dd(2) really need one in her life????

SelfieStick · 17/09/2016 20:17

Thingy

Here it is, but be prepared to start drawing up extension plans to house your unicorn Grin: unicorn

RoastieToastieReastie · 17/09/2016 20:20

Those of you with giant unicorns, where do you keep it? DD would LOVE that so much but other than living in her bed with her I have no idea what I'd do with it. It is worthwhile/loved enough to justify?

OP posts:
Thingywhatsit · 17/09/2016 20:29

Ahhhh thanks selfie 😄 What a shame I don't have a toysrus near me and they don't deliver to me, so I will have to put the planned extension on hold! Dd has a box room, I would probably have to swap rooms with her if I got it!!!!!

Chocoholicmumma · 17/09/2016 20:30

Reastie ours lives sprawled out on dds bed during the day and then on the floor next to her bed at night. Not very tidy looking or helpful probably but it's the only way it's out of the way and off the floor during the day.

RJnomore1 · 17/09/2016 20:32

It lives on dds bed with her. She has the hemnes day bed and I often find it pulled out so Robert can have the guest half.

imnottoofussed · 17/09/2016 20:35

just got the boots number 7 mirror someone mentioned up thread, thanks for the heads up

SelfieStick · 17/09/2016 20:36

I love that she named her unicorn "Robert," RJ! Grin Grin

ValiumQueen · 17/09/2016 20:40

Thingy 3G in Rural? We don't even get 1 bar where we are. I dream of 3G.
