Thread 6 - the one where the shark beds go astray and we try not to eat our chocolate hauls

Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

Can anyone find any other Twinings.co.uk codes that work? i.e. not just the unionjack one - I've found some v nice mugs.

featherpillow · 17/09/2016 11:29

Ah shame. The stag bedding is showing as longer available.

WreckTangled · 17/09/2016 11:44

Hello everyone!!

Happy birthday thread babies Smile my tread baby is four in November

Anyone just found this set of four Christmas mugs for £6.99 delivered. Thought they'd be perfect in the run up Smile

WreckTangled · 17/09/2016 11:45

Should have proof read, meant to say 'anyway' not anyone.

GinThief · 17/09/2016 12:27

My Jawbone UP arrived today (thank you to whoever shared the bargain!) with it came a flyer with 2 x 20% off White Company and free delivery. Here are the codes for anyone to enjoy:

AN092
AN311

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 17/09/2016 12:31

Just a heads up for anyone using one of the white company codes ^^ they have 20% off everything at the moment but still have to pay for delivery...you can't stack codes so at the payment page you'll need to remove the automatic code and add one of the new codes above to avoid paying for postage.

Faffed about for ages last night!

SideOrderofChip · 17/09/2016 12:33

wreck I second those mugs. We had them last year in our Christmas Eve gamper

WreckTangled · 17/09/2016 12:42

Oh I'm glad to hear that chips.

FYI for all the oldies I am formally SpottyTeacakes.

SideOrderofChip · 17/09/2016 12:54

Aaah hello spotty! How goes it

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 13:13

Good Grin looking forward to Amazon Black Friday. I think it'll be on pay day this year also the same day we are going to Lapland uk. Argh too much excitement

I8toys · 17/09/2016 14:08

Ginthief - thanks for the White Company codes. I'd already spent over £50 on my mum for Christmas. But noticed I was running low on Seychelles stuff so treated myself - will give to husband to put away for me for Christmas so 20% off and free delivery.

Rosie29 · 17/09/2016 14:38

I got my Jawbone Up a few days ago and really like it. However it dropped off a couple of times in town today so watch out if you use it with the strap.

M&S had some Christmas wrapping in store, can't find it online. It's 342, not sure if in 20% off.

Sainsburys 25% off starts Monday, not sure if that's been posted yet.

Rosie29 · 17/09/2016 14:39

Obviously that's 25% off TU at Sainsburys!

Wondermoomin · 17/09/2016 14:44

Playmobil 123 advent calendar

£19.99 down to £8 on Tesco here

Mummyshortlegz · 17/09/2016 14:50

LOYALTY30 will get you 30% off at Yankee candles.co.uk and so you can get the advent calendar for £20.99 instead of £29.99

VinoTime · 17/09/2016 14:51

Does anyone do a December...uh, fun box? Scaling back on the December trips and treats this year is non optional due to the job situation, but I don't want DD to notice and become worried. So I'm implementing Project Distraction and was thinking of making up a box full of inexpensive Christmas crafts, games, puzzles, cooking bits, DVD's, etc to see us through the month and keep us busy. We've already got all the Christmas movies, CD's and books the world has ever seen so they can all go in it, but I did pop these into my Works order earlier.

Make your own Christmas word decorations £2.00.

Make your own Elf Decorations £2.00.

Make your own Christmas wish catcher £2.00.

They actually work out at £1.50 each if you spend enough to qualify for the 25% off code.

I've bought some Christmas chocolate moulds, I've found loads of cookie cutters (can't even remember buying them but I've got trees, snowflakes, stars and gingerbread men galore) and I know Poundland do Christmas travel mugs every year, so we can make our own hot chocolate before going out for walks instead of stopping in at Costa every weekend.

Am now impatiently waiting for Christmas Monopoly and some festive puzzles to drastically drop in price on Amazon!

Mummyshortlegz · 17/09/2016 14:55

Great price on the advent calendar, Amazon had it for £9.99 on 25th November last year so slightly cheaper after the £3 Tesco want for delivery. Sorely tempted to go for it instead of chancing it on Amazon!

PhilomenaFlump · 17/09/2016 15:56

The advent calendar shows as 19.99 for me at tescos?
