I was trying to stay away from this thread and Christmas buying until after my little ones first birthday but I caved in today and bought (all from Elc)-
Happy land zoo reduced to £35 from £70
Happy land advent calendar (pricey at £25)
Happy land puzzles for £6
I used an Elc birthday code which got me 20% off meaning the three items cost £53.
I have already used the code once to buy birthday presents but it let me use it again. Sadly there is no point sharing the code as it is linked to email address but there is 50% off lots of happy land toys at the moment.
Now I need to concentrate on buying for two teenagers.

CathFizz · 12/09/2016 13:24

Don't know if it has been previously mentioned, but has anyone ever bought anything from wish. it seems similar to Aliexpress. Looks like there's some good deals.

wornoutboots · 12/09/2016 13:26

5 little bags (I made them from gold fabric, but you can buy cheap little gift bags)
5 sucker hooks
squares of card with a hole in the corner to fit on the hook with numbers 1-24 written on them.
and 24 little gifts wrapped in scraps of paper.

reusable advent calendar!
just remember to refill them and change the numbers every 5 days.

FeelingSmurfy · 12/09/2016 13:30

Could just wrap everything and put numbers on, in a box with shredded tissue and they have to rummage around for the right numbered item?

SideOrderofChip · 12/09/2016 13:32

Cannot believe the amount of money I have just saved at The Works!

Bought DD a Where's Wally puzzle, some Harry Potter playing cards, some mini highlighters, a pack of bouncy balls, a 16 book collection of children's Shakespeare stories, a 10 book collection of the Dork Diaries and I got 4 furry monster notebooks - one for DD's stocking and the other 3 for presents.

Used code PLAY25 for 25% off and got free delivery for spending over £20. How have I never used TW before?! The whole lot only set me back £36.00! ShockShockShock

luckiestgirl · 12/09/2016 14:00

Cath someone was saying they use Wish and recommended it. I've downloaded it and it looks good- but haven't bought anything from it yet so can't vouch for how good it is.

TheHammaconda · 12/09/2016 14:08

Frugi have just reduced their sale bits. Some items are down to 70% off. There are some very cute baby Christmas T-shirts here and here.

Not an amazing bargain but I'm happy anyway - Jelly Belly 1.8kg jelly beans are £12 in Costco. I've been cradling the tub like a baby. Xmas Grin. I wants them, my precious.

Will put them in Christmas Eve box as like to put in something that makes them go WOW, which this definitely will.
